Ekkadaina depends on plan type.....usual ga bayata aithe dabbulu pettekoddi manchi plans vuntai....Uni lo aithe manchi plans at cheaper rates vastai......students andhariki at flat rates.....

Insurance plans lo co-insurance, deductibles and out of pocket anevi important.....regular ga health issues valla hospitals visit chese vaallu co pay kooda drusti lo Pettukovaali....

A good plan is one with OfCourse lower monthly premium, lower deductible, higher co- insurance and lower max out of pocket value.

In simpler words,

For example, let Mr.A(Insured) buys a plan from Company X(Insurer) and Mr.A visited hospital and was admitted and got a bill of $50,000.

Lets assume Insured's plan is 1500 Deductible, 80% Co-Insurance, $10,000 out of pocket per year and $50 Copay for office visit, $200 copay for room services and $20 copay for pharmacy.

Now....regard less of anything, Mr.A has to pay first 1500 deductible. Only after that the company starts paying Co-Insurance of 80%....until the total amount that he pays from his pocket which is $10,000.

That means, Mr.A supposed to pay $200 for admitting(copay) + 1500(deductible) + 20% of remaining $48,500 which is $9,700. Total of $11,400.

This is when Out of Pocket comes into picture.....anything after $10,000 will be paid by Insurer in that year ....

So....in this example, Mr.A will only pay a maximum of $10,000 in that year.....

Co-pay ante doctor ni visit chesina pratee saari $50 kattali, or admit ayina pratee saari $200 kattali, pharmacy drugs lo konna pratee saari $20 kattali.....(pharmacy drugs lo anni cover avvavu mostly....so manam ekkuva kattalsi vastadi depends on that drugs value.....but most pharmacies give discounts for insurer's company).....All the copays add towards Max out of pocket in that year.....

In-network and out-network ani vuntai....ante aa insurance company cover chese areas and hospitals and doctors ni in-network ani cover cheyani areas ni out- network ani antaaru...in-network ki oka price and out-network ki oka price vuntadi....in that same plan....

Most companies doesnt pay for labs like scans, tests etc....cosmetic surgeries kooda excluded.....maternity kooda cover cheyavu chaala plans....

So....usual ga manchi plan ante oka $200 to $300 per month range lo $0 to $500 deductible, 80% to 100% copay, 5000 max out of pocket and $0 copay aithe manchi plan.....

Plans depends on places we live, age, habits, medical history etc etc....

Plans kosam online lo vetiketappudu SSN adigithe ivvoddu.....

Internet lo entha vetikithe antha manchi plans dorukutai.....

Hope it helps.....ilanti vishayaalu entha knowledge penchukunte antha manchidi F1 students.....
