tarakaramudu Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 Nava Telangana Party (NTP) founder T Devender Goud on Thursday said that the party would “declare” separate Telangana state on November 2. “We will observe the November 1, the State Formation Day, as a black day and on the following day on our own we will declare separate Telangana state,” Goud told media persons here on Thursday. He appealed to all the pro-Telangana forces, including all political parties and other organisations, to join him in his endeavor. Goud said that though there is some movement in the Congress High Command on the issue after his recent lobbying with other political parties and brought pressure on the Congress at New Delhi, he will not rest until a full-scale process is started. “We will, in fact, intensify our agitation till the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government takes measures to form separate state,” he added. The NTP is in the process of forming various party committees and will announce the committees of various districts on November 3, he explained.
