NTR_Keka
RR Movie Makers incurred heavy losses in business recently so they closed their distribution business in Vizag area. In fact, they stepped into distribution business in big way in the state, but some heavy blows knocked them out. You may ask how that can be possible when they had great block buster hits like Businessman and Poolarangadu. Indeed, it was announced long back that the film ‘Businessman’ has scored a major hit and grossed super collections. However, it might surprise you to know that the makers had suffered losses even with that film. Well, this news has come to light recently and here are few details about it. The first week collections of ‘Businessman’ were mind blowing. Sources reveal that once the first week collections came in, director Puri Jagannadh came and took his share and same happened with Manjula who had given the dates of Mahesh Babu to the R R Movie Makers. They also patted RR Venkat saying that whatever he bags from subsequent weeks will be his own. But that didn’t happen. There was heavy drop in collections from third week. RR banner didn’t see profit with Businessman and also incurred loss as Puri and Manjula had already taken away their shares. However, RR Makers’ next venture ‘Poola Rangadu’ gave them some relief with decent collections. Now they are busy with the film ‘Paisa’ being directed by Krishna Vamsi, ‘Autonagar Surya’ with Deva Katta. Let us wish they are not having any problem with their funding. Now the banner is not in a mood of throwing away money on business, but going ahead with a calculative approach. That’s for good indeed.

RamKe
About 33 in AP (Nizam helped alot in getting this final total.. Released in 280+ theaters. No film has even crossed the 270 Mark, or 260 Mark I believe). 4 in OS (GA Biased Review, Mild Winter(no snow), and High as Hell Ticket Prices (Some areas reporting $20) helped a ton) KA 1.5 and ROI maybe .5-.8 so around 38-40 MAX Sankranti + Widest Release Ever in TFI (till date) + Lack of Compeition/Coming after Dookudu + Heavy Legacy building publicity saved the film. Had this film come right after Khaleja would have been another consecutive disaster for Mahesh bob making less than 15C in AP again

Biggest Ever Returns for NTR in Nizam, Guntur, Krishna, Nellore, and Overseas(Surprisingly). 4 Dhammu Nizam, Overseas, East, and West were the main territories holding it back from collecting 40+ WW Alot was to blame (reasons wise), but the territories above were the problem spots individually. RamKe
os brindavanam highest ntr carrer lo....s dhammu bit lagged in east and west when compared to other regions...donno why...... Dhammu crossed Brindavanam in overseas with a 2.5/5 Rating from GA, and of being Mass/Gore Content (which is why its very very surprising). Brindavanam only did 1.3 in Overseas versus 1.9 Dhammu Very strong premiers helped Dhammu.
