AbbaiG Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 My first encounter with TDP was during the coup pulled off by N. Bhaskar Rao. I was may be 4 years old then. Maa village lo elementary school ki pampevaaru maa parents. Aa rojullo prathi roju 2 or 3 road shows undevi. They were all protesting for NTR, so that he could be re-instated. The people in the road shows used to give us flags and badges and STICKERS!!! After the road shows were done for the day, we used to imitate those folks by holding a procession of our own, shouting slogans, Jai TeluguDesam, Jai NTR etc. As Cobb says, a fully formed idea is the most resilient parasite. It sticks in there somewhere in the brain and refuses to leave. The idea that formed in my brain at that young age was that there was a man named NTR, who was cheated, and that we needed to stand by him so that he could get justice.
