they transferred 44.8 billion cubic metres ie roughly 1580 tmc water transferred . india wants to link brahmaputra ganga through bangladesh with 1 lakh cusecs link canal in 1972 . but bangladesh did not agree to this proposal. it requires lift of 15m. if china is in place of india it could occupy the bangladesh to complete interlinking project. advantage of china government is there is only one party . no elections . they don't have to worry about to impress people through free bee to win elections. no land rights for people . atmost they can occupy the property for 70 years. after 70 years it will go back to government.

oh man, if cbn able to provide godavari water to nsp right canal through lift, nsp left canal through chintalapudi lift it is possible to supply water for one wet crop. we don't need 400/500 meter lifts like telangana , 200 meter lift is sufficient for ap. ultimate solution is godavari-penna link proposed by cbn to provide water for one wet crop and one dry crop. as per cbn plan godavari water irrigate all coastal districts . krishna water coming from karnataka can be utilized for rayalaseema . farmers should have freedom in choosing crop they want to grow. i agree that in some places it is not economical to supply water for paddy crop. in ap political costs override economic cost.

crop change is necessary to kill some creatures which cause problem to crops . in godavari districts we grow paddy for 2 crops. now government encouraging 3rd dry crop(april to june) example minimulu, pesalu, grass for animals like pilli pesara, jaadu to enhance soil fertility. if cbn able to provide irrigation water for one wet crop and one dry crop then tdp can sweep whole state.

in one season during previous cbn rule(1995-2004) there was shortage of water for rabi crop in godavari district. poonam malakondaiah ias applied on and off method, water given for each distribution canal in alternative weeks. there was no stagnation problem. we got bumper crop 50+ bags(each bag contains 75 kg) . during shortage of water we need collaboration between bureaucrats like ias officers, engineers and farmers, politicians, saguneeti sanghaalu to get better yield .

telangana can utilisze atmost 6 tmc per day , in the best case they can get water for 150 days 150*6 = 900 tmc sufficient for them, already they have share of 950 tmc harish rao indirectly saying no to interlinking . instead of asking telangana, center should take up polavaram - penna

canal widening not possible due to land acquisition problems, only canal bund possible. canal lining need not be disturbed for canal bund

in case of polavaram left canal we need permission from nhai/railway to dig canal and build bridges. polavaram left canal has no role in nsp right canal project. polavaram right canal earth work completed , lining work is pending. in general bridges at canal will be built at greater height . raising canal bundling won't cause any problem. no additional permissions required sometimes listening to opposition/neutral also helps cbn . if these works starts now it will take at least 1 year to complete. by that time elections will come. we are missing crucial season before elections. if cbn listen to their advice, this project could completed by june and tdp may reap electoral benefits in guntur and prakasam district.

canals are permanent solution. pipes needs to be replaced after some years . if some jaffa breaks pipes again we have to repair. it is sheeer waste of money. canals are cheaper compare to pipes. atleast in godavari-penna link cbn should use canals instead of pipes. sometimes conventional methods are better than modern methods. any way we lost hope on modi&co. cbn can't rely on these guys. cbn needs to build canals at discharge capacity of 92,000 cusecs, which makes state drought free. cbn work will be remembered forever.this is once in lifetime project like polavaram.

death and taxes are certain . no body can change that . many things are out of our control. government waste money on many useless schemes,unviable projects, statues(ambedkar, jyothy rao pule, ntr ,ysr or any other leader). atleast in this situation some poor people are getting houses. poor doesn't mean lazy. poor people do menial jobs like milk vendor, labour, plumber,carpenter,sewage cleaner ......... . these people provide essential services which make city livable .

acquire land now and reserve it for future airport . once airport comes at mangalagiri there will be lot of restrictions on buildings/apartments height in capital.

in this article kambhampati paparao telling that reservoir can be built at jalleru(which is near polavaram and papikondalu) , but state irrigation department suggesting reservoir bollapalle. advantage of reservoir at jalleru is canal can be built at less capacity. but wapcos/irrigation department choosing bollapalle. what is the disadvantage of jalleru?
