polavaram rmc can carry sufficient water only for krishna delta . we need another canal from polavaram to transfer water to nsp right canal ayacut
Isn't the RMC actual capacity is 17k cusecs and can be remodelled to carry 30k cusecs?

idi simple gaa oka waste project. deeniki pette karchu polavaram lmc ki petti vunte eepatiki polavaram lmc(left main canal) complete ayyi vundedi. purushottham lift irrigation cost around 1600 crore(stage1+stage2) 3500 cusecs . it starts supplying water only in this season(2018-2019) . polavaram coffer dam get completed by 2019 may/june . ie polavaram left canal gets 17,500 cusecs water from 2019 june through gravity. why should we spend 1600 crore for one season water supply of 3500 cusecs
Yah I too had the same doubt. I convinced myself with the below.
But polavaram canal full supply level is at 42 metres(75 tmc). once the level goes down water has to be pumped, Instead release the water down(if possible power generation) and use purushottapatnam/polavaram lifts.
considering the scenario, if the water is below active level, and we don't get good flows in may and june like this year.
Hope someone in the DB has the right answer.

What happens in future when Polavaram is completed, if Polavaram water is below the Canals full supply level and we get flows like this, don't we still use pattiseema lifts when the water is released to polavaram downstream?
If this scenario replicates, then pattiseema cannot be considered as the temporary project. But the opposition succeeded in highlighting Pattiseema as temporary project. Why don't we counter it?

Why can't the govt setup a firm and produce the needed natural fertilizer, so that every farmer can buy and use it.
or It can be run by DWACRA women...or the unemployed youth.

APNRT is doing good job. The NRI's can use it to avail multiple services. I have used it and I am satisfied with the response.

The Inflows to Srisailam should be 230k plus when outflows of Almatti and Tungabhadra combined for the last few days. Seems like TG@Jurala is effectively using water.
