Sasank Posted October 2, 2007 Author Share Posted October 2, 2007 Pitch and outfield: The outfield is in fairly good shape, thanks to the spectacular work of the ground staff using innovative methods like fire to dry it up. However, the pitch is a little damp and that's holding up the start. There are a few cracks around, bringing the slow men into play. We did mention earlier that there would be an inspection at 9.00, about 15 minutes from now. More details to follow. In the meantime, you may read Jamie's preview of the game.
