HarshaNTR Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 The Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu lacks credibility was once again proved on Thursday, when he took a complete “U” turn on the separate Telangana issue. Naidu told media persons that the TDP had never said that it would support the Telangana resolution. “All that we said was that we will cooperate with the government, if it introduces the resolution in the assembly. But there is a due procedure for that. We want a resolution only after debate and consensus among leaders of all the regions of Andhra Pradesh,” he said. It was only on Wednesday that Naidu said his party would support the resolution, but he changed the tacks overnight following resignations of two MPs and 20 legislators of his party. He blamed the Congress party for the chaos saying it ‘bungled’ on the issue of Telangana and took a unilateral decision without due consultations.
