The primary reason cited by makers for the delay of Mahesh Babu’s ‘SPYder’ is ‘CG Work’. 3-4 months time was dedicated for the completion of entire CG work, and the team is still waiting for the final CG output.

On the other hand, the shooting of NTR’s ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ commenced some 5 months ago and they are all set to bring the film into theatres in just about six months.
This film also needs heavy CG work since the lead actor is essaying three different characters. So, how could the team of JLK finish the CG work so fast?
It’s all thanks to the technology used by the JLK team. Milo Motion Control Rigs and Mo-Sys Camera Motion Systems were used extensively during the shooting stage. And, this technology facilitated the integration of 3-layer shots on the sets itself. If not for this technique, makers would have had to do CG work for almost 80 percent of the movie because NTR is essaying three roles, and it would have taken months for the completion of VFX part.

Producer Kalyanram Nandamuri’s Advitha Creative Studios is handling most of the CG work of Jai Lava Kusa. Anil Paduri is heading the VFX team.

As of now, entire talkies part has been wrapped up and the shooting of only 2 songs is pending. Going by Tarak’s ease and speed in finishing songs, makers are confident of having the final copy in their hands well ahead of the scheduled release date, September 21.

The Runtime of Jai Lava Kusa is 2 hours and 37 minutes (first half 1:18 and second half 1:19 including titles), which is decent considering that stories of three characters have to be narrated in that time frame.
