The film helmed by veteran director Bapu has music by maestro Ilayaraja. In the Tamil version, legendary singer S P Balasubramanyam has dubbed for Balakrishna, while popular singer Chinmayi for Nayanthara. Rajesh has dubbed for Valmiki and yesteryear heroine K R Vijaya for her own role. According to Future Films, it took more than 34 days for the dubbing works to get over. "The movie's release will be backed by aggressive promotional activities. Attempts are on to hold an event by bringing together Balakrishna, Nayanthara and Ilayaraja."
