Yalamanchili Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 The content of school text books in schools in Pakistan is written in such manner as to foster prejudice and intolerance of Hindus and Christians while most school teachers view religious minorities as enemies of Islam, according to a study by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom. The commission reviewed more than 100 textbooks from grades 1-10 from Pakistan’s four provinces. Researchers in February this year visited 37 public schools, interviewing 277 students and teachers, and 19 madrasas, where they interviewed 226 students and teachers. The findings of the study indicate how deeply ingrained hard-line Islam is in Pakistan and help explain why militancy is often supported, tolerated or excused in the country. Leonard Leo, the chairman of the US Commission said that teaching discrimination increases the likelihood that violent religious extremism in Pakistan will continue to grow, weakening religious freedom, national and regional stability, and global security. Everyone praised their country and spoke bad about india. After the contest, organizers asked to state the reason for talkin so bad abt INDIA. Their reason is to win the contest and not coz they are against INDIA. This holds gud for INDIAN citizens as well. This shows that neither INDIANS nor PAKIS have any hatred. But only the bloody politicians are creating the riftbetween us. May be in old days, even ppl had.
