e.g rivas/eluru canal in Vijayawada. It used to bring water in to krishna river. after praksam barrage, it is taking water from barrage(through increased depth).

అమరావతి, జూలై 25 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ భూసేకరణ చట్టం అమలుకు విధివిధానాలు, నియమనిబంధనలను రూపొందిస్తూ రెవెన్యూశాఖ ఉత్తర్వులను (జీవో నం.390) జారీ చేసింది. కేంద్ర భూసేకరణ చట్టం-2013లోని మూడు అత్యంత కీలకమైన క్లాజులను ముఖ్యమైన ప్రాజెక్టులకు మినహాయింపునిస్తూ, కేవలం రాష్ట్ర అవసరాలను దృష్టిలోపెట్టుకొని ఈ చట్టాన్ని రూపొందించారు. దీన్ని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ భూసేకరణ చట్టం-2018గా పిలుస్తున్నారు. అయితే, ఇది 2014 జనవరి 1 నుంచే అమల్లో ఉన్నట్లుగా తాజాగా రూల్స్‌లో ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఈ మేరకు ప్రాధమిక (ప్రిలిమినరీ) నోటిఫికేషన్‌ ఇచ్చారు. దీనిపై సూచనలు, సలహాలతోపాటు అభ్యంతరాలను 15 రోజులపాటు స్వీకరించనున్నారు. ఆ విన్నపాలను పరిశీలన చేసి రూల్స్‌పై తుది నోటిఫికేషన్‌ జారీ చేస్తారు.మారిన చట్టంలో...కేంద్ర చట్టంలో పేర్కొన్న గ్రామసభల తీర్మానం, ఆహారభద్రత, సామాజిక ప్రభావం అంచనా వంటి అంశాలను ఈ చట్టంలోనూ పేర్కొన్నారు. అయితే, ఐదు రకాల ప్రాజెక్టులకు చేపట్టే భూసేకరణకు అవి వర్తించవు. ఈ మేరకు చట్టంలోని చాప్టర్‌ -3ఏలో 10 ఏ కింద మినహాయింపులను ఇచ్చారు. జాతీయ భద్రత, దేశరక్షణ, విద్యుదీకరణ, గ్రామీణ మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు, పేదలు, ఇతర గృహనిర్మాణరంగం, ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టే ఇండస్ట్రియల్‌ కారిడార్స్‌ వంటి వాటి కోసం భూములు సేకరించాలనుకుంటే గ్రామసభల ఆమోదం, భూసేకరణ వల్ల కలిగే సామాజిక పరిణామాల అంచనా అంటే సామాజిక అంచనా, ఆహారభద్రత వంటి అంశాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోరు. నేరుగా నోటిఫికేషన్‌ ఇచ్చి భూ సేకరణ చేపట్టేలా రూల్స్‌ను తయారుచేశారు..రూల్స్‌లో ఏముంది?చాలావాటినుంచి మినహాయింపులు ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ భూసేకరణలోనూ అనేక ఆప్షన్స్‌ ఉంచారు. కన్సెంట్‌ అవార్డును పాస్‌చేయడం ద్వారా, నేరుగా రైతులతో చర్చలు జరిపి వారితో ప్రభుత్వమే భూముల సేకరణకు ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకోవడం, ప్రభుత్వమే నేరుగా భూములను కొనుగోలు చేయడం, ఇంకా స్వచ్ఛందంగా భూసేకరణ చేపట్టే పద్ధతుల్లో రూల్స్‌ను తయారు చేశారు. ఇవన్నీ చట్టంలో ఉన్నా...వాటి అమలు ఎలా ఉండాలన్న దానిపై రూల్స్‌ను తయారు చేశారు. ఈ వ్యవహారాలు చూడటానికి జిల్లా కలెక్టర్‌ నేతృత్వంలో సంప్రదింపుల కమిటీ ఉంటుంది. చట్టం రూల్స్‌పై వివిధ శాఖల నుంచి వచ్చే సూచనలు, సలహాలు, అభ్యంతరాలను తప్పకుండా పరిశీలిస్తామని రెవెన్యూశాఖ ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి మన్మోహన్‌సింగ్‌ ‘ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి’కి చెప్పారు. సచివాలయంలో ఉండే తనకు భూసేకణ చట్టం రూల్స్‌పై సూచనలు, సలహాలు, అభ్యంతరాలను లిఖితపూర్వకంగా పక్షం రోజుల్లో పంపించాలని ఆయన కోరారు. -

I dont think dams can fulfill all the water needs, they play substitute role. if the dams are full we can use 350TMC max. Last year around 140 tmc water is given to seema, still in Ananthapur district water is given for mostly drinking needs, except the lands near the reservoirs.
And also ground water plays important role. we get around 1000 tmc through rains/groundwater/soil moisture.
You can correct me If I am wrong.
Anantpuram district alone should receive 250TMC through rain (19130 sq km, 380mm average rain fall). unless this rain comes in heavy burst, most of the water would go underground.

Earlier they had 30km. Even at 30, Dugarajapatnam would still be in its exclusive zone.
“The government of Andhra Pradesh hereby agree that no party other than the concessionaire (Krishnapatnam Port Co.) shall have the right to develop a new port within 30km of either side of Krishnapatnam port limits during the concession period under this agreement,” says the agreement signed on 17 September 2004.

Dugarajapatnam is in exclusive zone of Krishnapatnam, Ramayapatnam is not.

krishna delta is around 13 lakh acres, in best/ideal scenario they release 11000 cusecs. currently they are adjusting with less water.
i unable to understand when godavari delta requires 12000-15000 cusecs for 10 lakh acres, how 11500 cusecs sufficient for krishna & nagarjuna sagar right canal 13+18 = 31 lakhs acres
I think Prakasam barrage canals discharge capacity(18000 cusecs) is more than Dowleswaram. In Godavari delta most of it is two wet crops+. where as in Krishna delta most of it is single paddy crop. so, they stagger the water supply among the canals. west krishna delta (Guntur dt) gets water usually 2-3 weeks late, by then heavy demand for water from krishna east delta will be done.

no, 16000 is at beginning. canal gets narrower as it approaches Krishna. at Krishna river, its full capacity is 11500. I am not talking about pattiseema lift at all.

even after polavaram ready, these numbers are not adding up.
polavaram right canal capacity at sangamam is 11500 (according to above articles). andulo 7000 NS right canal loki lift cheste, migiledi 4500 ye ga. how would that be sufficient for Krishna delta?
some water can be diverted from polavaram right canal directly in to Eluru canal. still, 4500 is not enough for rest of the delta
