Chakri Posted September 25, 2010 Share Posted September 25, 2010 A Cautious Sentral Governmenr on Friday extends the ban on Bulk SMS and MMS till September 30 to prevenr any misuse of this Technology to Spread rumours or hateful message in wake of Ayodhya Judgement to be delivered next week. The Telecom Department had a Wednesday banned Bulk SMS and MMS service for the 72 hours in the entire Country as the Ayodhya Verdict was expected on Friday. However, the Supreme Court on Thurdday stayed the verdict till at least september 28. In the Changed circumstance, the government decided to extend the ban on bulk messages.
