kiranss007 Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Well, the Indian politicians and the government officials are defining every word of 'Common Wealth Games' to the fullest. This was meant to be an event which would have projected India in the world stage as a strong venue for international sporting activities. Instead, the greed for money and shameless corruption has ruined all the prospects. The collapse of the main venue bridge is being estimated at Rs 8000 crores and one can imagine how the public money is being used and that too for a prestigious event. If Indians talk about being patriotic and proud of their nation, this surely is not an example. It is rather disgusting to note that despite the evident shameful acts, words like bringing the wrongdoers to justice and giving them severe punishment are never heard of.
