Xendia Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 [face=Sans-Serif]Only NTR Could Face SVR NTR and SVR were the two stalwarts in the past those had greater command on Telugu and Sanskritised jargon. They ruled the screen as hero and villain especially in mythological films. While NTR was known for discipline, punctuality and dedication- SVR was famous for his seriousness, anger, proud and recklessness in shooting sets. None could face SVR with complete boldness in those days. Everybody used to shiver to act along with SVR. That was not only with the fear of his behavior and attitude but for his talent and unbeatable acting expertise. That was only NTR who used to face SVR with complete confidence. Hence, the scenes those depict NTR and SVR in single frame spelled completeness. ANR once said that he used to feel shy and inferior while acting with NTR, SVR and Gummadi because they had charismatic personalities unlike him.[/face] Courtesy:GreatAndhra (band)
Kiran Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Why do they bring comparison between character artists and film heroes?? NTR and ANR are heroes while the rest two are character artists. Of course they tried as hero in couple of movies but they were disasters and ended up settling as character artists Can we compare today's Prakashraj or Kota Srinivasrao to Chiru and Balakrishna, how would fans react. Its the same case. SVR is a legend no doubt, he has a separate space in history of telugu cinema. But somehow this comparison between charecter artists and heroes is not worth it. :)
chowdary369 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 there is a comparison in SVR and NTR .....so he had compared.....there nothing wrong with that,he is just comparing nothing else more, and asying the truth.......Be cool yarr Good Work ---------------- Aditya Chowdary
