Simham
Irfan Pathan has made an impressive start to his spell here. He is getting the ball to drift back in nicely and has had the batsmen in all sorts of trouble in this short spell. From the other end, Ramesh Powar has started off at his gutsy best. He is flighting the ball nicely and is trying to force the batsmen to make a mistake. Good strategies employed by the Indians here.(cheers)(cheers)

Simham
22.6 Powar to Haddin, SIX!!, Powar gives it a bit of air on the middle and leg, Haddin comes on the frontfoot, gets to the pitch of the ball and smashes it over long on, that is a beautiful shot down the ground!!! Simham
This is the best thing about the Aussies. Despite all the wickets that are falling around them, they manage to keep the run rate right up there and that is what has happened in this game as well. The run rate hasn't dropped below 5 for a long time and if they keep wickets in hand at the death, we may well see the Aussie score marching past a challenging one.(dance13)

Simham
This is turning out to be a potentially dangerous partnership for India. Both Clarke and Haddin have got their eye in but the cause of concern for Australia is that there is not much batting left after these two. Hogg and Hopes can throw the willow around a bit but the Aussies will need these two to bat as long as possible and at the same time they would like to see one of these two batting right till the end of the innings.
