Welegedara to Sehwag, FOUR, There we go. First ball and we have a boundary. He leaned forward and actually just pushed at it with an open-face of the bat. Single, two? No sir no .. it races past point

Mathews to Tendulkar, FOUR, full in length, tailing in from the off stump line, Tendulkar leans forward to clip it well to the right of midwicket. I wonder how many of you have seen SMGavaskar's similar clip through the on side. Much more stylish than SRT's.

Wickets

0.4

Welegedara to Sehwag, OUT, Welegedera takes out Sehwag. Quite similar delivery but he didn't leave this one alone. He went for the flashy cut, was cramped up for room and edged it behind. Sanga flew to his right to pouch a very good catch. The Big fish has been caught.

V Sehwag c †Sangakkara b Welegedara 4 (4b 1x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

India 4/1 SR Tendulkar 0* (0b) UWMBCA Welegedara 0.4-0-4-1

4.1

Welegedara to Gambhir, OUT, Gambhir is run out Gambhir isn't too happy as he had collided with the bowler. But the bowler didn't do it deliberately. He was backing up, back pedaling away from the stumps, and Gambhir tried to go around him but bang.. clash and he couldn't get into the crease in time. The mid-on fielder fired in a direct hit. It was refered upstairs and the correct verdict has been given.

G Gambhir run out 2 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33

India 19/2 SR Tendulkar 12* (15b 1x4) UWMBCA Welegedara 2.1-0-6-1

16.5

Mendis to Tendulkar, OUT, Mendis gets SRT stumped. It was the loopy two-fingered googly, turns in from a short of length and outside off. Tendulkar was down the track and went for the big heave-ho over the infield but wafted inside the line. Done in by the shortening of the length and by the fact that this one didn't break back in as much as a regular googly. He couldn't adjust quickly enough after he failed to reach the pitch of the ball.

SR Tendulkar st †Sangakkara b Mendis 43 (52b 4x4 0x6) SR: 82.69

India 81/3 V Kohli 31* (39b 5x4) BAW Mendis 2.5-0-13-1

26.3

Randiv to Kohli, OUT, trapped in front. It turned in from outside off stump, Kohli walked across to try to work it to the on side for a single but missed it and was struck in line with the stumps. Hawk eye says it would have hit the top of the middle stump.

V Kohli lbw b Randiv 54 (65b 7x4 0x6) SR: 83.07
