Now it’s an apparent 3rd SRC as per the announcement given by center last night. It is said that the bill will be passed in Assembly and considered by taking the majority of MLAs. It is clear that many Andhra and Rayalaseema MLAs will vote against Telangana and 2/3rd majority finds no place. With that the bill cannot be passed. It takes ample time to get separate statehood and not at all a final bell as many Telangana supporters are assuming. The popular Telugu adage ‘illu alakagaane panduga kaadu’ aptly fits here. The announcement is made just to make KCR call of his hunger strike. That has happened. But Telanagana supporters are feeling that it’s ‘freedom at midnight’.
