He meets a girl at a village fair when he is young and she presents him with a chain with a dollar. This dollar is crucial in the film and it figures from start to finish. Coming to the story, NTR dreams of making a lot of money by hook or crook and settle down in life. He eels all the stolen goods to Dhanalakshmi (Mamatha Mohandas) a pawn broker. NTR gets a chance to make ten lakhs in a deal with MS Narayana and completes it successfully.
