The first schedule of 35 days shoot is planned in USA. Meher Ramesh who directed Kannada remakes of Telugu hits like Okkadu and Andhrawala is directing NTR in Kantri. Producer Aswni Dutt is producing the movie on Vyjayanthi Films Private Limited banner. Kansi Mothwani and Jiah Khan are to pair up with NTR.
