Do you know everything about Sachin's 100 centuries? No, well here is something for you!

Century #1 (Test)
It was on 1 Aug 1990 at Old Trafford, Manchester against England. 
He was just 17 years and 112 days old.

England in 1st innings scored massive 519 and in reply India got all out for 419 with Sachin's 69.
In 2nd innings India got to chase 407 when Eng declared at 320.

Then came this little boy to rescue. Sachin stayed on the pitch, scored 119 not out and helped India to draw the match single handedly.

Century #2 (Test)

This was on 4th january 1992 in sydney, India won the toss and chose to field.
Australia scored 313.
India gave a nice reply scoring huge 483 taking lead of 170. This involves LITTLE MASTER'S UNBEATEN 148 along with Shastri's 206.
Australia in 2nd innings were on 173 and the match was finally drawn.

Century #3 (Test)

Again it was against Australia in one of the fastest pitch of the world WACA, Perth on 2nd Feb 1992.

Australia in their first innigs scored 346.
India in their first inings struggled and were all out for 272.
Out of this Sachin Tendulkar alone stood in the middle and scored 114 and tried his best to save the match.
Unfourtunately India lost the match.

But, keep calm and believe in Sachin. There are 97 more to go.

Century #4 (Test)
In Johannesburg on 27th Nov 1992 against South Africa. 
SA in 1st innings score 292 in their 1st innings. 
India was really struggling in their 1st innings. 
Where no other experienced batsmen of that time were even able to score 30+, Little Master stayed at the other end. Taking responsibility of the entire team on his small shoulders, he alone scored 111 and took India to 227 and saved the team.
In 2nd innings SA scored 252 and India were on 141/4 when the match was Drawn.
Once again, Sachin saved the match for India.

Century #5 (Test)

It was a message sent to the entire world, brace yourselves, "A Legend Is Rising"

This was his first century in India on 13th Feb 1993 in Chennai against England. 

India won the toss and chose to bat. 
Sachin Tendulkar,at this little age, was making one of the best bowling attack look like ordinary. He scored amazing 165 including 24 4s and 1 6.
On the other hand Sidhu scored 106 and India set a total of 560.
Eng in their 1st innings were all out for 286. India allowed them to follow-on and in 2nd innings they got all ot for 252.

India won by an innings and 22 runs.

SACHIN WAS AWARDED MAN OF THE MATCH.

 Century #6 (Test)

It was on 13 july 1993 at Colombo against Sri Lanka. 

India in 1st innings scored 366 and in reply SL was all out for 254.

In 2nd innings starting with a lead of 112, India was on 359/4 when they declared. This include Sachin's 104 Not Out including 11 4s and 1 6.
Sri Lanka chasing a massive target was all out for 236.

India won by 235 runs.

Century #7 (Test)

Against Sri lanka in 19 Jan 1994 in Lucknow India won the toss and chose to bat. 

In 1st innings India managed to score huge total of 511 with Sidhu's 124 and SACHIN'S 142 OFF JUST 224 balls which includes 22 fours.
SL in their 1st innings were all out for 218 and were allowed to follow on. In their 2nd innings, they were all out for 174

India won by an innings an 119 runs.

Player of the match was Anil Kumble for taking 11 wickets (4 in 1st innings and 7 in 2nd).

Century #8 (ODI)

"Mcgrath, Shane Warne?? Well, He doesn't care, He is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar".

First one in ODIs.It was against Australia on 9 sep 1994 in Singer World Series (Aus, Ind, Pak and SL).

India won the toss and chose to bat. Everyone was struggling infront of world's greatest bowlers. But Little Master had different intentions.
He stood alone and helped India to score a defendable target of 246 scoring 110 off 130 balls with 8 4s and 2 6s.
In reply Australia was all out for 215.

India won by 31 runs and Sachin was awarded MoM.

Century #9 (ODI) 

Haters, are you there?? This one is for you!

It was on 28 Oct 1994 against New Zealand at Baroda. NZ won the toss and batted first and put India a target of 270 to chase. 

Sachin was sent to open the innings. He took his responsibility and scored 115 including 9 4s and 3 6s and helped India to reach the target. India won by 7 wickets. 

Sachin was again awarded Man Of the Match.

Century #10

On 11 Nov 1994 at Jaipur against West Indies, which was known for the most dangerous bowling attack at that time.
India won the toss and chose to bat.
India again with the help of Sachin's 105 which includes 10 4s, reached 259/5 in 50 overs.
West Indies in reply got all out for 254 and India won by 5 runs.

Once again, it was Sachin's century that helped India to win the match and also win the 5 match series by 4-1.

Century #11 (Test)

It was on 2 Dec 1994 against West Indies at Nagpur. 
India won the toss and chose to bat. 
India in 1st innings scored massive 546 with the help of Sachin's amazing 179 includeing 24 4s and one 6 and Sidhu's 107. 
West Indies in their 1st innings managed to score 428, India thus lead by 118 runs.
India in 2nd innings India declared at 208/7 which includes Sachin's 54.
WI in 2nd innings were on 132/5 when the match was declared as draw.

Century #12

Against Sri Lanka on 9th April 1995 at Sharjah, SL won the toss, chose to bat and put India a target of 203 runs. 
Sachin opened the innings and remained unbeaten till the end scoring 112* off 107 balls which is more than 50% of total runs.

So once again, Sachin played a MATCH WINNING INNINGS

It was on 18 Feb 1996 against Kenya. India won the toss and chose to field.
Kenya scored 199. 
Little master once again stood till the end scoring 127*with 15 4s and one 6. 
India won the match by 7 wickets.

Sachin was again awarded MoM.

Century #14 (ODI)

Once again against Sri Lanka on 2nd March 1996, Wills World Cup. 
SL won the toss and put India to bat. 
Sachin once again taking the driver seat took India to a strong target of 271 scoring his 137 runs which includes 8 4s and 5 massive 6s. He was Run Out.
Unfortunately SL chased the target and won by 6 wickets.

Century #15

On 5th April 1996 against Pakistan in singapore, Pak won the toss and chose to field. 
Sachin scored aggressive 100 of 111 balls with 9 4s and 1 6. and single handedly helped India to reach 226/8 when rain interrupted match. 
Target was revised for Pakistan using D/L method and Pakistan got a target of 190 which they achieved easily and Pak won by 8 wickets.

Century #16

Again it was against Pakistan on 15th April 1996 at Sharjah.
India won toss and chose to bat.
With the help of Sachin's unbeatable 118 including 8 4s and 2 6s and Sidhu's 101, India managed 305/2 at the end of 50 overs.

It was for the first time that India crossed 300 in a limited over format.
India restricted Pakistan to 277 and won by 28 runs. Sachin also contributed in bowling taking 2 for 40.

Sachin was again awarded Man Of Match.

Here is Century #17 (TEST)

On 8 June 1996 against England at Birmingham, India won toss and chose to bat.
In 1st innings India got all out for just 214. England scored 313 and lead India by 99 runs.
India was in trouble. Every batsman struggled against English bowlers. 
But then Little Master came to rescue. He scored 122 including 19 4s and 1 6 in 2nd innings. Second highest for India was 18 by Manjerakar. 
So he single handedly took India to 219.
England chased their target of 120 and won by 8 wickets

Century #18 (ODI)

It was on 5th July 1996 against England at Nottingham. India won the toss and chose to bat.
Earlier in that series, two Indian legends Saurav and Dravid had already made their debut.
In 1st innings India scored massive total of 521. The unstoppable Sachin scored 177 which includes 26 4s along with Ganguly's 136.
England fought back and scored 564.
In 2nd innings also Sachin scored 74 and single handedly took India to 211 and the match was declared drawn.

Century #19 (ODI)

On 28th Aug 1996 against Sri Lanka in Colombo. 
Batting 1st India was in trouble as top order colapsed. Sachin again was saviour scoring 110 helping India reach 226.
Sri Lanka achieved target and won by 9 wickets.

Till now:

Won 9
Draw 5
Lost 1

So till now, winning % is around 50 including draw and ratio between Won and Lost is 2:1 i.e. around 66%.

Here is Century #20 (ODI)

It was on 14 December 1996 against South Africa at Wankhede. 
Winning the toss India chose to bat. As usually Sachin opened the innings and started destroying Proteas bowling attack. 
With his 114 including 14s, India scored 267.
In reply to it, Africa all out for 193 and India won by 74 runs.

Sachin was awarded Man of the Match.

Century #21 (TEST)

**This pic of Sachin is with Nelson Mandela, a former president of South Africa (1994-1999)

On 4th Jan 1997 against SA, at Cape Town. 
SA won the toss, batted first and scored 359 in 1st innings. 
Once again, Sachin took the responsibility and scored 144 that helped India to reach 359 along with Azharuddin's 101.
In 2nd innings SA declared for 256 giving India target if 466. India all out for 144 and SA won by 282 runs.

Century #22 (ODI)

It was against Zimbabwe at Willowmoore Park, Benoni on 9th feb 1997.
India won the toss and chose to field.

Zimbabwe batting first, gave India a target of 241. 

In response Sachin scored 104 off just 97 balls and India grabbed the victory by 6 wickets.

Century #23 (ODI)

At Banglore, against New Zealand, NZ won the toss and chose to bat.

NZ scored 220 with help of Nathan Astle's 92.

India in response won easily by 8 wickets. Sachin alone scored 117 off 137 balls including 13 4s and 2 6s and was awarded Man of the Match.

Century #24 (Test)

On 2 Aug 1997, At colombo against Sri Lanka, India batted first and in 1st innings scored 527 that includes Sachin's 143, Sidhu's 111 and Azharuddin's 126.

Well, then came Sri Lankans and scored record breaking 952 in their 1st innings with Jaysuria's massive 340.

The match ended in a draw.

Century #25

Again against Sri Lanka at Colombo, on 9th Aug 1997.
India won the toss and chose to field.

Sri Lanka in their First innings scored 332 with help of PA de Silva's 146.
In reply, India scored 375 with help of Ganguly's 147 and Sachin's 139. Both together put a partnership of 150 runs.

Sri Lanka in 2nd innigs scored big 415 in which Jayasuria missed double century by just 1 run and scored 199 and de Silva again scored 120.
India in 2nd innings were on 281/5 when match was declared drawn.

At Mumbai on 3 Dec 1997, against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka won the toss ans chose to field.

India in 1st innings scored massive 512 with help of Sachin's 148, Saurav's 173 and Dravid's 93
In reply Sri Lanka was all out for 361 and India got a lead of 151 runs.

In 2nd innings, India declared at 181/9 and gave Sri Lanka a target of 332.
Sri Lanka were on 166/7 when the match was declared draw.

Century #27

It was a 3rd innings match winning blast from the Master.

On 6 March 1998 against Australia at Chennai.
India won the toss and chose to bat

India in 1st innings was all out for 257
In reply Australia scored 328 and gave India lead of 71 runs. 

In 2nd innings, under extreme pressure, Sachin took the driver's seat. He scored quick 155* off 191 balls including 14 4s and 4 massive 6s. Sachin remained unbeaten and India ended at 418/4 giving Australia a target of 347
In chasing the target, Australia all out for 168. Kumble took 4 wickets and India won by 179 runs.

Sachin was awarded Man Of the Match.
