harian
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched four big satellites on Wednesday from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre here on Wednesday. “The PSLV C-18 has been a grand success,” ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan announced after the launch. “Very precisely four satellites were successfully launched in the orbit. The difference between what we planned and what we have achieved is just two kilometres,” an elated chairman said. The PSLV C-18 carrying PSLV-C18 carrying 1000 kg Megha-Tropiques satellite and three other nano satellites of 10.4 kg lifted off at 11 am on Wednesday. Megha-Tropiques is the first Indo-French mission taken up by the ISRO. PSLV-C18 has injected Megha-Tropiques satellite into an orbit of about 867 km altitude at an inclination of 20 degree with respect to equator. PSLV has also injected SRMSat from Chennai’s SRM University, ‘Jugnu’ from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Vesselsat-1 from Luxembourg. http://www.tollywoodandhra.in/news/general-news/isro-successfully-launches-four-satellites/
