krishnagarapati
As Balakrishna's 'Maharadhi' has gone out of ring, only two films remained as Sankranthi releases this time. Both are of young heroes as well. Allu Arjun's 'Desamuduru' in the direction of Puri was released on 12th January and Prabhas' 'Yogi' released on 14th Jan in VV Vinayak's direction. The expectations on 'Desamuduru' were very high till its release as Puri gave sensational hit 'Pokiri' before. But the weak story line and very weak narration made 'Desamuduru' a dull one. Even Ali's comedy may not work to bring audiences to theaters, as per trade reports. Same is the case with 'Yogi'. VV Vinayak released the film on sentimental date of Jan 14th where 'Lakshmi' released last year. The film also bagged huge attention as Cuddapah Mayor Ravindranath Reddy presented the film. Ravindranath Reddy is also the brother-in-law of YSR. But audiences are not recognizing the film well, as per reports. Although collections are considerably good now, there are huge chances of reduction shortly. 'Rakhi' is consistent in collections while 'Annavaram' is losing the tempo.
