His upcoming film 'Dammu', which is touted to be an out and out commercial entertainer, has everything in it to become a blockbuster. The positive buzz around the film, terrific pre-release business (Rs 45 crore) and the publicity posters are adding weight to the enormous expectations. NTR's performance, dialogues and dance moves will be a treat to watch in this film. We just can't imagine a Director Boyapati Seenu's film sans high-voltage action. He has a unique way of designing action sequences and Dammu is no exception. The spine-chilling action episodes in the film will keep you on the edge of the seats. "The action episodes in Dammu have come out to be exceedingly well and this film will redefine commercial mass entertainers in Tollywood," said a unit Member. Producer Vallabh says that the film has been completed, except for one song. "Trisha has a meaty role to play and she in fact appears in two different looks," sources confirm. Besides Trisha, 'Ko' girl Karthika is also playing a crucial role in 'Dammu', which is taking shape fast. After Shruti Hassan walked out of Dammu, there was uncertainty about the lead female artist of Dammu. It was reported that Kajal Agarwal may be paired with NTR in this movie, in which Karthika would play second fiddle to her. The latest buzz is that it is Trisha who will be the main female lead. Boyapati Seenu has zeroed in on the actress after much deliberation. The regular shooting of the film began recently. Trisha is expected to take part in the shooting very soon. The mass entertainer has NTR in a whacky role and the young tiger sports a stylish mustache here. The film, which is being produced by Alexander Vallabha of Creative Commercials Media, is presented by KS Rama Rao. This is the first time that Trisha is being paired with NTR. However, the venue for release may not see any change - it is Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. The film has music by MM Keeravani. Directed by Boyapathi Sreenu, the film is touted to be an action-filled drama. The movie will release on April 27. "You will watch NTR's dammu in a new light. We are exploring a new dimension of his acting prowess. This film has many mass elements," the producer has said. The film says that guts doesn't just mean bashing up a hundred baddies. Breaking the limbs of the villains is heroic yes, but it is not enough. A true man of guts should be able to stand up to the invasive might of a hundred people. He should be willing and ready to face the problems for the sake of those who look up to him as their hero. This forms the crux of the character NTR is playing in this April release. Starring Trisha and Karthika, the film boasts of some traditional dance moves by the Young Tiger. NTR's Dammu will slug it out with Ram Charan's Racha at the BO this April. The now crest-fallen actor will essay the role of NTR's brother-in-law in Boyapati Seenu's Dammu. Dammu does seem to be a family entertainer with a whole bunch of relatives thrown in, much like in Brindavanam. Already, we know that Bhanu Priya is playing NTR' mother and Kota Srinivasa Rao is playing his grand father. It will be interesting to see Venu's role in the film. The senti angle will work remarkably well if the an actor of simple and earthy demeanour like Venu shares screen space with a domineering one like NTR. Only the last song remains to be shot and this will be completed in a new schedule that will begin from the 26th of this month. A big set is being erected for this purpose and shooting will be complete with this. Music is being composed by M.M.Keeravani. Trisha and Kartheeka will be seen as the female leads in this film and Boyapati Sreenu is the director.
