'Lakshmi Kalyanam' completes talkie

Kalyan Ram, who earned a good recognition with films like 'Atanokkade' and 'Asadhyudu' is playing the hero in 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja and produced by K Mahendra. The film had completed its talkie part shoot very recently.

A new face, Kajal is being introduced as heroine through this film, while Suhasini of 'Chantigadu'-fame is playing another heroine. Once again RP Patnaik joined hands with Teja after 'Chitram, Nuvvu-Nenu, Jayam and Nijam' for this film and their success streak would continue further. For the first time, Paruchuri Brothers are working for Teja's film as dialogue writers. The film is most likely to be released in November.

[face=Verdana]Kalyan Ram with Sharp Dialogues  [/face]

[face=Arial]Kalyan Ram and new heroine Kaajal are hitting the screen shortly in the direction of Teja with 'Lakshmi Kalyanam'. The shooting part is completed and RR is going on in swift pace.

Paruchuri Brothers have penned sharp dialogues for this film those project Kalyan Ram as perfect mass hero. There is much discussion on the dialogues in this film. The combination is really novel with Teja, Paruchuri Brothers and Kalyan Ram.

RP Patnaik scored music for the film. Ajay, who played ferocious Titla in 'Vikramarkudu', is playing a key role in this film. Suhasini of Chantigadu fame is also playing second heroine in the film.

We have to wait and see how far this combination works.[/face]

[face=Verdana]Teja's 'wheel' of luck in Lakshmi Kalyanam

[/face]

[face=Verdana]One common feature in director Teja?s three biggest blockbusters ? Chitram and Jayam, is that Bicycle was the dominant vehicle. Bicycle and Talakona region are his sentiment weapons.

His films that were largely shot in Talakona region like Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam turned out to be trendsetters. And this sentiment is all set to work wonders for him for his new film, Lakshmi Kalyanam starring Kalyan Ram in the lead role.

The film has been shooting in Madanapalli area in Talakona region and Teja uses bicycle as the vehicle for romance between Kalyan Ram and newcomer Kajal.

Director Teja scoffs at rumors

Few days back there were some reports that director Teja beat up a local student in Madanapalle during the shooting of his new film, Lakshmi Kalyanam. When we asked about these reports, Teja vehemently denied them and termed them rumors.

?I have not yet beat up anyone for this film,? he laughs off. It is well-known fact that Teja uses hard hand on actors to get good results. But Lakshmi Kalyanam has been progressing very smooth and is shaping well. The buzz is that he?d be on the success track with this film.

The film has just finished its major schedule in Madanapalle. Lakshmi Kalyanam is a love story set in rural milieu. Teja praises Kalyan Ram for his keenness to work hard. He also has good words for his find, Kajal. ?She is extremely talented. I believe she?d become big heroine after the release,? Teja told Telugucinema.com

[face=Sans-Serif]Raasi turns dubbing artiste

Raasi entered the film industry as a child artiste and earned compliments from all quarters. Later she made her debut as heroine through 'Subhakankshalu' and attracted all classes of audiences with her glamour and performance. She played opposite several top heroes including 'Gokulamlo Seeta' with Pavan Kalyan, 'Krishna Babu' with Balakrishna and several other heroes. She had also bagged awards from several firms. Besides, she shook legs in item numbers in super hit films like 'Samudram, Seenu and Venky' and robbed the hearts of youth.

She had played a negative (vamp) character in 'Nijam' opposite Gopichand and proved that she could perform any character. Though she is away from the film industry after getting married, she did a television programme. Now she returned to the industry, of course behind the screen. She is dubbing her voice to the debutant heroine Kajal for 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja and produced by K Mahendra with Kalyanram and Kajal in the lead. She says, 'With all my experience as child artiste and heroine I am sure that I could do the job perfectly and I will continue to lend my voice to the girls. Not only as a dubbing artiste, Indiaglitz wishes her to do many more good characters on the screen and become a busy artiste once again.

Lakshmi Kalyanam in post-production

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, November 22, 2006]

The shooting of 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja and produced by K Chandrasekhar (Jeethu) on the banner of Gita Art Pictures with Nandamuri Kalyanram in the lead was completed recently and the post-production works are in progress.

Presenter of the film K Mahendra says, 'The rare combination of Teja and Kalyanram is the highlight of the film. So far, Kalyanram did never do a role as a village youth. Not only that there are very few films these days with village as its backdrop. So our film would be a definite off-beat from routine films. It is the story that runs between two villages. Teja's directorial abilities could be clearly noticed in this film.

There are seven songs in this film and RP Patnaik gave melodious tunes to all of them. As the story demanded, we shot most of the film in Madanapalli and its surrounding areas for about 75 days. Four songs, four fights, climax and other important scenes were shot there itself. The film has a good mix of family traditions, love and action. The film came out very well.'
