Arcelor Mittal & Nippon Steel in Nakkapalli will invest ₹61,780 crore in Andhra Pradesh, providing employment to 21,000 people by 2029.

LG Electronics Private Limited will invest ₹5,001 crore and create job opportunities for 1,495 people. Kalyani Strategy Systems Limited will invest ₹1,430 crores, providing 565 jobs. 

TAFE Parashia India Limited will invest ₹76 crore and provide 250 jobs. Phillips Carbon Black Limited will invest ₹798 crore and create employment for 200 people.

Azad India Mobility Limited will invest ₹1,046 crore and create 2,381 jobs. Dallas Technology Center LLP will invest ₹50 crore in the State and provide 2,000 jobs.

Astha Green Energy Ventures will invest ₹8,240 crore and create 4,000 jobs, while Green Solar IRAP Limited will invest ₹2,000 crore and provide 1,725 jobs. Ecoren Energy India Limited will invest ₹1,662 crore and create 350 jobs.

 

2nd Meeting (Dec 30th 2024) - 9 Projects - ₹1,82,162 Cr Investment - 2,63,411 Jobs

Projects Approved

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) will set up a large refinery in an area of 6,000 acres at Ramayapatnam in Nellore district, at an investment of ₹96,862 crore. This project is expected to create 2,400 jobs. The refinery, which will have a capacity of 9 million metric tonnes, will be developed in five blocks, including a township, learning centre, refinery, petrochemical units, crude oil terminal, green hydrogen unit, and administrative blocks. The project is estimated to generate revenue of ₹88,747 crore for the State over the next 20 years. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that the project is completed by 2029.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will invest ₹80 crore to expand its operations at Millennium Towers in Visakhapatnam, covering an area of 2,08,280 square feet, which will create 2,000 jobs.

Azad Mobility India Limited is set to establish a green project for manufacturing electric three-wheeler trucks, buses, and battery packs in Gudipalli, Sri Sathya Sai district, over 70.71 acres. The project will be completed in three phases over six years, with an investment of ₹1,046 crore, creating 2,381 jobs. In Rambilli of Anakapalli district, Balaji Action Buildwell Private Ltd. will set up an MDF/particle board manufacturing unit on 106 acres at an investment of ₹1,174 crore, creating 1,500 jobs.

The officials said that due to the state’s new Clean Energy Policy, several companies are making large investments in the state. Five new companies will invest ₹83,000 crore in various projects, creating 2.5 lakh employment opportunities in the clean energy sector alone. 

AM Green Ammonia (India) Private Ltd. is establishing a green hydrogen-based ammonia manufacturing plant in Kakinada with a capacity of 1 million metric tonnes over 592 acres, investing ₹12,000 crore and creating 2,600 jobs.

John Cockerill Greenco Hydrogen Solutions Private Ltd. will set up an electrolyser manufacturing unit with a capacity of 2 GW in Kakinada over 40 acres, at an investment of ₹2,000 crore, creating 500 jobs.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited will establish a 400 MW solar power project on 1,800 acres in Hosur and Peddahulthi, Kurnool district, with an investment of ₹2,000 crore, generating 1,380 jobs.

Clean Renewable Energy Hybrid Three Private Ltd. will invest ₹2,000 crore to set up a 119 MW wind power, 130 MW solar hybrid, and battery energy storage plant across 1,080 acres in Mylavaram and Kondapuram, YSR district, and Kolimigundla in Nandyal district. This will create 650 jobs. 

Reliance Industries Limited will invest ₹65,000 crore in the State to set up 500 compressed biogas plants with a total capacity of 11,000 metric tonnes across five lakh acres, creating employment for 2.5 lakh people. This project is expected to be completed by 2028 and will generate ₹4,095 crore in revenue for the State.

 

3rd Meeting (Jan 30th 2025) - 15 projects - ₹44,776 Cr Investment -19,580 Jobs

Projects Approved

Navayuga Engineering will set up a 1,500 MW project in Gojjili, Alluri Sitarama Raju district, and 800 MW project in Chitthamvalasa, with an investment of ₹14,328 crore. These projects will provide employment to 3,450 people. Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd. plans to set up a pumped storage project in Kommuru, Annamayya district, with an investment of ₹10,300 crore, providing employment to 3,000 people. Aspari Renewable Private Limited will set up a 118.80 MW wind power project in Anantapur and Sri Satya Sai districts, with an investment of ₹972.23 crore by creating employment to 150 people.

Anantapur Renewable Private Limited will establish a 178.20 MW wind power project in Anantapur with an investment of ₹972.23 crore, providing jobs to 225 people. Similarly, Kadapa Renewable Private Limited plans to set up a 231 MW wind power project in Sri Satya Sai district with an investment of ₹1,163.11 crore, creating employment for 300 people. Another company, Ecoren Energy India Pvt. Ltd. is setting up a 201.30 MW wind power project in Anantapur and Sri Satya Sai districts with an investment of ₹1,651 crore, providing employment to 255 people. Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., part of Ecoren Limited, will set up a renewable energy plant in Kurnool district with an investment of ₹4,435 crore, with a capacity of 498.30 MW and will provide employment to 630 people. 

Ampin Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd., also from Ecoren Limited, plans to set up a 350 MW wind-solar hybrid power centre in Kurnool and Nandyal with an investment of ₹3,142 crore. The project will generate 1,200 jobs. SAEL Solar is setting up two 300 MW solar power plants, totalling 600 MW, with an investment of ₹3,456 crore in Anantapur, Kadapa, and Nandyal, providing employment to 2,070 people. Tata Power is setting up a 400 MW solar power centre in Anantapur with an investment of ₹2,000 crore. This project will create 1,380 jobs.

NSL Renewable CPP Pvt. Ltd. will set up a 50 MW wind-solar hybrid power plant with an investment of ₹567 crore, by providing employment to 170 people. Coromandel International Ltd. has proposed to expand its fertilizer plant in the Kakinada district with an investment of ₹1,539 crore, creating employment for 750 people. 

ALEP (Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India) is setting up a food processing project in Kodur with an investment of ₹305 crore, creating employment for 6,000 people. EMC Kopparthi is also investing in food processing projects in Kadapa district.

Sify Infinity Spaces Ltd is expected to invest Rs 1,466 crore in the first phase and Rs 15,000 crore in the second phase. Sify will set up a data centre, bringing its total investment to Rs 16,466 crore, it added.

Similarly, Sattva Developers Pvt Ltd is expected to invest Rs 1,500 crore in Visakhapatnam and Madhurawada, while BVM Energy and Residency Pvt Ltd plans to invest Rs 1,250 crore.

ANSR Global Corporation Pvt Ltd is also expected to invest Rs 1,000 crore in Visakhapatnam and Madhurawada.

 

10th Meeting (Aug 28th 2025) - 30 Projects - ₹53,922 Cr Investment - 83,437 Jobs

The Cabinet also cleared the following hotel projects: Hilton Garden Inn (Mantralayam), Holiday Inn (Amaravati) and Taj Vivanta (Bhogapuram airport), he added.

Google subsidiary Raiden Infotech India Limited will set up a data centre in Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs 87,520 crore. This will be the company’s largest data centre outside the United States.

Riden Infotech data centres will be set up at 3 campuses at Rambilli near Tarluwada, Adivavaram and Achhyutapuram in Visakhapatnam. These campus will be connected to the upcoming cable landing station.

AP SIPB approves investment proposals worth ₹20,444 cr 

The 13^th meeting of the Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday, approved various investment proposals involving ₹20,444 crore with a potential to provide employment to 56,278. Speaking on the occasion, the CM directed the officials to see that the projects are grounded within 45 days after signing MoU. 

Andhra Pradesh was able to attract significant investments in a big way with the introduction of speed of doing business and maintaining transparency in giving permissions, he said.
