అమరావతిలో క్వాంటం వ్యాలీ ట్విన్ టవర్ల నిర్మాణానికి రూ.1208.41 కోట్లు వ్యయం చేసేందుకు మంత్రివర్గం అమోదం తెలిపింది. సచివాలయ, జీఏడీ, హెచ్ఓడీ టవర్ల నిర్మాణంలో ఫాసేడ్, గ్లేజింగ్, క్లాడింగ్ పనులు చేపట్టేందుకు గానూ రూ.2540 కోట్ల వ్యయం చేసేందుకు, రాష్ట్ర శాసనసభ భవనంలో వివిధ సివిల్ స్ట్రక్చర్ పనులకు గానూ రూ.798 కోట్లను వ్యయం చేసేందుకు ఆమోదం లభించింది. ఎల్పీఎస్ జోన్ 11లో రోడ్లు, డ్రైన్లు, నీటి సరఫరా, మురుగునీటి పారుదల లాంటి మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను చేపట్టేందుకు ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. రాజధానిలో 220 కేవీ లైన్స్ రీరూటింగ్ చేసేందుకు రూ.1180.54 కోట్ల మేర పరిపాలనా అనుమ‌తులు మంజూరు చేశారు.

అమరావతి, ఏప్రిల్‌ 30 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): అమరావతి క్వాంటమ్‌ వ్యాలీలో జంట ఆఫీసు టవర్లు (టీ1, టీ2), షెల్‌ అండ్‌ కోర్‌ నిర్మాణానికి రాష్ట్ర మంత్రిమండలి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. ప్రస్తుతం నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్న క్వాంటమ్‌ కంప్యూటర్‌ సెంటర్‌ వెనుక రూ.1208.41 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో 37 లక్షల చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో రెండు టవర్లు నిర్మిస్తారు. ఒక్కో టవర్‌ 43 అంతస్తులతో నిర్మించనున్నారు. అలాగే రాజధాని అమరావతి ప్రాంతంలోని కృష్ణానది కుడి గట్టుపై వరద నిరోధక (కరకట్ట) రోడ్డును పటిష్ఠపరచాలని క్యాబినెట్‌ నిర్ణయించింది

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతి అభివృద్ధిలో భాగంగా ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం మరో కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలోని క్వాంటం వ్యాలీలో అత్యాధునిక సౌకర్యాలతో నిర్మించతలపెట్టిన ట్విన్ ఆఫీస్ టవర్ల నిర్మాణానికి అధికారికంగా పరిపాలన అనుమతులు లభించాయి.

అమరావతి, మే2 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతి (Amaravati) అభివృద్ధిలో భాగంగా ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం మరో కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలోని క్వాంటం వ్యాలీలో అత్యాధునిక సౌకర్యాలతో నిర్మించతలపెట్టిన ట్విన్ ఆఫీస్ టవర్ల నిర్మాణానికి అధికారికంగా పరిపాలన అనుమతులు లభించాయి. రాజధాని నగరంలో మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పన, పరిపాలనా యంత్రాంగానికి అవసరమైన కార్యాలయాల కోసం ఈ ట్విన్ టవర్లను ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా చేపడుతోంది. ట్విన్ టవర్ల (T1 & T2) 'షెల్ అండ్ కోర్' (Shell and Core) నిర్మాణ పనుల కోసం రూ. 1208.41 కోట్లు కేటాయిస్తూ మున్సిపల్ పరిపాలన శాఖ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. గత నెల (ఏప్రిల్) 23వ తేదీన జరిగిన 60వ ఏపీసీఆర్‌డీఏ (APCRDA) అథారిటీ సమావేశంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం మేరకు ఈ నిధులను మంజూరు చేసింది.

టెండర్ల విధానం..

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును 'డిజైన్ బిల్డ్ లంప్సమ్' పర్సంటేజ్ టెండర్ విధానంలో చేపట్టాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనివల్ల నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ప్లానింగ్, డిజైనింగ్, ఎగ్జిక్యూషన్ బాధ్యతలను సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహించే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. ఈ భారీ నిర్మాణ పనులకు సంబంధించి టెండర్ల ప్రక్రియను తక్షణమే ప్రారంభించాలని అమరావతి గ్రోత్ అండ్ ఇన్‌ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ కార్పొరేషన్ (AGICL)ను ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది. ప్రాజెక్టు పర్యవేక్షణ, అమలు బాధ్యతలను ఏజీఐసీఎల్ మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్‌కు అప్పగిస్తూ ఉత్తర్వుల్లో స్పష్టం చేసింది.

ప్రాధాన్యం..

క్వాంటం వ్యాలీ ప్రాంతంలో ఈ టవర్లు రావడం వల్ల ఐటీ, పరిపాలన, వాణిజ్య రంగాలు మరింత వేగంగా వృద్ధి చెందే అవకాశం ఉంది. అమరావతిని గ్లోబల్ సిటీగా తీర్చిదిద్దే క్రమంలో ఇవి ఐకానిక్ కట్టడాలుగా నిలవనున్నాయి. అమరావతి నిర్మాణ పనుల్లో వేగం పెంచిన ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం రూ. 1208.41 కోట్లకు పైగా నిధులతో ట్విన్ టవర్ల నిర్మాణానికి పచ్చజెండా ఊపడం రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలో రియల్ ఎస్టేట్, అభివృద్ధి పనులకు కొత్త ఊపునిస్తోంది.

NIELIT to Establish India’s First Dedicated Quantum & AI University Campus in Amaravati

MoU signed between NIELIT and Government of Andhra Pradesh

At the India AI Impact Summit, the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh on 20^th February, 2026 to establish India’s first dedicated Quantum and Artificial Intelligence University campus in Amaravati.

This landmark collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s deep-tech ecosystem and aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s vision to build a globally competitive quantum innovation hub through its proposed Andhra Quantum Mission. Amaravati is poised to emerge as the nucleus of the state’s ambitious Quantum Valley initiative.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh; Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, Government of India; Dr. M. M. Tripathi, Director General, NIELIT; and Shri C. V. Sridhar, Mission Director, APSQM, Amaravati Quantum Valley.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M. M. Tripathi, Director General, NIELIT, stated:

“This partnership marks a major milestone in India’s deep-tech journey. The Amaravati Quantum & AI campus under NIELIT will emerge as a national centre of excellence for research, education, and innovation in quantum technologies and artificial intelligence.”

Shri C. V. Sridhar, Mission Director, APSQM, Amaravati Quantum Valley, remarked:

“The NIELIT Quantum-AI University at Amaravati Quantum Valley will anchor India’s next wave of deep-tech talent by converging quantum science, artificial intelligence, and industry-aligned skilling to build a globally competitive innovation ecosystem.”

NIELIT is a premier autonomous scientific society under MeitY, mandated to advance education, skilling, training, research, and capacity building in emerging technologies across India. NIELIT has been granted the status of a Deemed-to-be University, with 12 approved campuses across the country.

Under this framework, the upcoming Amaravati initiative will be developed as a specialized Quantum & AI-focused university campus, dedicated exclusively to frontier domains. While anchored within NIELIT’s Deemed-to-be University ecosystem, the Amaravati campus will represent India’s first institutionally dedicated academic hub focused solely on Quantum and Artificial Intelligence.

The proposed campus will focus on cutting-edge domains including:

• Quantum Computing and Quantum Algorithms

• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

• Quantum Communication and Cybersecurity

• Quantum Hardware and Systems Engineering

• High-Performance Computing

• AI–Quantum Convergence Research

The campus will integrate:

• Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs

• Advanced research laboratories

• Industry-linked Centres of Excellence (CoEs)

• Deep-tech incubation and entrepreneurship support

• Global academic and R&D collaborations

This initiative is expected to significantly strengthen India’s capabilities in quantum technologies and AI, positioning the country as a global leader in next-generation innovation and deep-tech education.
