Bengaluru: 7, including Tamil Nadu MLA's son, killed in car  accident at koramangala

Seven persons, including Hosur DMK MLA Prakash’s son Karuna Sagar died after their car rammed into a road pedestrian way and a compound in the early hours of Tuesday.

While the police are yet to confirm the identity of the rest of the deceased, all are aged between 21-28 years and were travelling in an Audi car. The incident took place near Mangala Kalayana Manatapa near Koramangala around 1.30 am.

Joint commissioner of Police (Traffic) Ravikanthe Gowda said that four male and three female persons have died. Six of them died on the spot and one died one the way to the hospital. Prima facie, it looks like that the car was being drivern fast and in a negligent matter. “We are yet to know whether they were drunk”, he added.

Noway. look at images,  engine came Into cabin. Airbags, seatbelts can only save when we r within limits and car structure is holding up. It structure itself can't handle the impact and gets crushed we get crushed too.

Bengaluru: In an unfortunate incident, seven people died in a car accident in Bengaluru early Tuesday. The tragedy happened after an Audi Q3 model car rammed an electric pole dashed against the wall of a nearby building near Mangala Kalyanamantappa resulting in the death of seven persons.

Among the dead were three women and son and daughter-in-law of a DMK MLA from Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The deceased were identified as son of DMK MLA from Hosur Constituency Y Prakash, his wife Dr Bindu, daughter-in-law of MLA Prakash, Karuna Sagar, Ishita, Dr Dhanusha, Akshay Goyal, Utsav and Rohith.

Mercedes Benz has the safest option in such collisions.

the engine will not protrude into the seating area but will be dropped down in case of a severe impact.

I don’t think Audi has such feature. Not all German cars are made the same. 
 

clearly they were driving out of control .. tragedy to their parents.
