Why daliths against to TDP

Recommended Posts

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madiga#:~:text=with their leaders.-,Madiga Dandora movement, while the Malas were Lutherans.

Starting in the 1980s with the rise of the NT Rama Rao-led Telugu Desam Party, these landlords became more assertive and prideful, and became more willing crush to any Dalit assertion. However, the Dalits refused to acknowledge their economic subservience by accepting political subservience by voting for the TDP, seen as a Kamma party. These tensions led to sporadic atrocities committed by upper caste landlords against Dalits such as Karamchedu massacre and Tsundur massacre throughout the '80s into the '90s.[10]

Early politics related to Dalits, including Madigas, in Andhra Pradesh was centered around welfare schemes for them, a form of politics most typical of Congress. With the rise of the TDP, social polarization took on a political hue: with Dalits being considered "rebellious" if they did not support the TDP of the Kamma landlords.

It's varies as per region..

In costa-- above info is correct.. especially..2019..more votes polarized against TDP.Before the case was like ..30 to 40 % were with TDP.

Mainly from 2008.. conversations are started ..hence more polarized against TDP.

Before state division..madiga are with TDP especially in TG.. though the above mentioned incidents were  happened.

Cbn has to come up with different strategy..to improve vote share in SC and St.

My village is small village where 70 votes of ST ,those were strongly opposed to cast their vote to TDP candidate in last panchayat elections..they returned the 2k which was given each vote..such a trans there are in now

isn't this write up a partial lie? and misinformation? Like Benbabali's. For example, karamchedu incident played out between kammas and madigas.. but where is the question of malas? what about tsundur incident, why are dalits flocking reddys while hating kammas then? what about other incidents?

These writers and analysts don't fully understand or care, how polarization was working even within the particular timeframe and simply paint it as if, "there existed kamma raj once upon a time under TDP and that is the sole reason for destroying dalits from thousands of years"...

Indira Gandhi gave farm lands for SCs and STs... Hastham gurtu ante craze vachesindi entire batch ki.... Piece Piece ki elaa vachindi antha following ? how did they strategicly targetted conversions ?

even today, take a sample of few villages, ask TDP leaders to go to each house and request them to vote for TDP, you will see increase in vote share.... somehow we didnt do it.... our leaders have a pre-determined notion that this section dont vote for us.... we have to remove that from our mind.... konni areas lo konni pockets lo target chesi baagaaa kalupukoni pothe definete ga change vastundi.....

I would say this task should be for Lokesh and not for CBN....how many reserved seats through out the state? atleast try to nurture 5 new faces and see how much difference it will make....

All these are unnecessary analysis

If people believe in leader they will vote

Leader has to attract people

If that is the case Tamil people accepted jayalalitha who is from.other state.

even kcr is also not telanagna

CBN golden period completed

You are right brother.....I spoke to one Christian SC from guntur...His family was hardcore YSR fans....kaani 2019 lo his family, relatives voted for TDP as local TDP leaders helped them, visited their houses and build rapport....SC/ST lo TDP should aim dent 25% to 30% in 2024 elections!!!

I don't think TDP has any ideological differences with respect to SC/ST. Unlike BJP, we are not against conversion. Infact in 2014 CBN promised reservation even for converted SC/ST. Only advantage Ycheapy has is that their main leader is Christian. We should groom leaders from SC/ST and also minorities.

TDP should appeal to all the castes irrespective of caste/religion. Pro development agenda tho janalni convince cheyali. Social media lo huge investment should be made to take forward such agenda, where we are still weak compared to YCP.

we need to cater to all castes, all religions regardless of losing is an amazing philosophy but practically it didn’t work..

if that is the case we did nothing wrong in 2019, but results stinked!

end of the day, we need to be able to polarize on the grounds of development..

but, this section of people vote for freebies, and they think that freebies are best delivered to them by ysr(and ysjagan) because they are both christians like they themselves are (however silly it may sound).. jagan is jesus ane pracharam deeni kosame kada..

kammas ni kotti, maku navaratnalu iche monagadu ysr bidda... idhi mindset -> less anti on kammas, more love on freebies and converted leaders..
