uravis Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 A Honda Jazz from Hyderabad has been caught speeding multiple times on the city's Outer Ring Road (ORR). Speeding tickets worth Rs. 1.8 lakh have been issued in a year. Initially, the 8 lane road had a speed limit of 120 km/h, which was later reduced to 100 km/h after a high number of accidents related to speeding. According to the Telangana State e-challan portal, the Honda Jazz, with registration number TS09ER2957, has been spotted clocking speeds up to 163 km/h. The car was fined a total of 127 times from April 4, 2017 to March 10, 2018 and the penalty for each offence is Rs. 1,435, including user charges of Rs. 35. The total fine amount now stands at Rs. 1,82,245. While the road conditions have been improving over the years in India, it is best not to test the limits of the car or the driver on public roads.
