Sunrisers went on a shopping spree and ended up with 16 players on the first day of the auction. They had a solid squad that needed a few finishing touches for it to become truly amazing. They did not quite manage that on day two of the auction. Sunrisers would have liked another high-quality Indian batsman - but so would most other teams because they are in short supply - but what they are really missing is a proper finisher, who can take the end overs for more than ten an over. They tried to buy back Ben Cutting but lost him to Mumbai. They do have Carlos Brathwaite as a power-hitter, but playing him in the XI will be tricky for balance, and especially if the opposition have quality spinners to counter Brathwaite. And Yusuf Pathan seems to be past his prime.

but williamson has more variety of shots in his armory apart from his class batting.

kane will be more impactful over amla in T20I

and he is also the previous member of the team and management knows what kane capable of

that's why he got picked .

Batting seems weak, williamson, shakib & Saha are not fast scorers.

Batting again has to depend on Warner, they should have checked for another good Indian batsmen.

Pandey ki dabbulu baaga pay chesthunnaru but performance not upto mark.

SRH bowling seems better than batting with Bhuvi, Rashid, Shakib.

Manchi allrounder missing in SRH. I doubt pathan can fill that spot.

pandey aadtadu ani expecting...first time team lo key player ga untadu....so far he has always been playing under someone elses shadow be it kkr or india...some ppl thrive when they are d main man and i expect pandey to be similar

pathan - like with any hitter 2 or 3 matches perform chesina chalu...spin pitches lo bowling kuda estadu...antakumundu mana srh indian players kante much better

saha - T20 ante sixes ey kaadu ga  best keeper in d country and busy at d crease while batting n can complement the hitters at the other end patahn pandey brathwaite etc...much better than ojha in every aspect

bowling n batting both departments we are better than before....sharma n bhuvi both consistent wid new ball n old ball....shakib one of the best spinners in T20s rashid no one has cracked his code yet - so 4 solid bowlers unnaru...inkokati bratwaite pathan nabi bipul etc can share

No team can be perfect without weakness/gaps...to me Srh n DD seem best balanced of 8...

srh: bowling very good. Can defend 150-160 scores most of times...

betting: success depends on how shakib does in middle order...along with pandey's consistency..

Pathan fluke... if he does well in 2-3 matches.. job done...
