Polling trends: Exit polls: I am putting my neck on the line by saying - (expecting a big victory)this election result will bring back the glorious memories of CBN's electioneering skills for old timers and give a lesson to youngsters who are underestimating CBN. He definitely lost (some) aggressiveness of 80s & 90s but is now compensating with maturity and experience. Whether Laxmiparvathi issue of 90s or Modi/BJP issue now - this man rarely loses balance. We have to see he deals with BJP & Modi in coming months. Out of 3 terms of his ruling, 2014-17 term is his best performance considering financial constraints and lack of support from center. His lack of clout at center (this term) is a blessing in disguise as he is focusing more on the state and the way he is mixing development and social schemes in spite of financial crisis is a lesson for admiistrators. It has been a master-class for those who observed his electioneering skills (without making a fuss) for last few months. He did not rely on only one thing (Sentiment/development/leaders). He silently combined all the things and succeeded in achieving a big victory (expecting) in a seat where caste combinations are not favourable for party and the candidate lacks experience. This man deserves more respect from media and people. Will come back on August 28 for live updates. Other By-elections: 1. Bawana (Delhi): Crucial for AAP. 2. Panaji: Goa CM is the candidate 3.
