అమరావతి: సింగపూర్‌లోని పుంగోల్ తరహాలో అమరావతిలో నిర్మించబోయే ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్‌ టౌన్‌షిప్.. దేశానికే మోడల్‌గా నిలుస్తుందని ఏపీ మంత్రి నారా లోకేశ్‌ అన్నారు. సింగపూర్‌ పర్యటనలో భాగంగా అక్కడి వాణిజ్య, పరిశ్రమల మంత్రిత్వశాఖ జాయింట్ ఇంప్లిమెంటేషన్ స్టీరింగ్ కమిటీ (జేఐఎస్‌సీ) ప్రతినిధులతో ఆయన సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా లోకేశ్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ జేఐఎస్‌సీ మద్దతుతో అమరావతి ఎకనామిక్‌ రీజియన్‌ను అత్యుత్తమంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని తాము కోరుకుంటున్నామని చెప్పారు. ఎకనామిక్‌ రీజియన్‌ అభివృద్ధిలో ఆసక్తిగల భాగస్వాములను ఆహ్వానిస్తూ ఇప్పటికే నోటిఫికేషన్‌ జారీ చేశామన్నారు. రాజధాని అమరావతికి ఇప్పుడు జాతీయ చట్టబద్ధత ఉందని చెప్పారు.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ నుంచి సింగపూర్ ద్వారా ఆగ్నేయ ఆసియా, తూర్పు ఆసియాల మధ్య వాణిజ్యాన్ని సులభతరం చేయడానికి గల అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని కోరారు. సింగపూర్ సన్‌టెక్ సిటీని అధ్యయనం చేస్తామని లోకేశ్‌ చెప్పారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌, సింగపూర్‌ ప్రభుత్వాల మధ్య ఇప్పుడు పటిష్ఠ భాగస్వామ్యం ఏర్పడిందన్నారు. ఎంవోయూలోని అంశాల అమలుపై వర్కింగ్ గ్రూపుల ద్వారా ప్రతినెలా సంప్రదింపులు జరుగుతూనే ఉన్నాయన్నారు. ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వానికి చెందిన ఆరుగురు మంత్రులు ఇటీవల సింగపూర్‌లో వారంరోజులపాటు శిక్షణా తరగతులకు హాజరై పరిపాలనలో తమ అనుభవాలను పంచుకున్నారని గుర్తుచేశారు.

2. He said that the state aims to emerge as a global “Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions” destination.

3. He also mentioned that the govt had issued notifications inviting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from interested partners for the development of the Amaravati Economic Region.

4. He further proposed organizing an Andhra Pradesh-Singapore Joint Commodity Trade Roundtable to identify export opportunities for commodities, including Guntur chillies.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh on Monday said the proposed integrated township in Amaravati modelled on Singapore's Punggol district is set to become a model urban development project for the country. Lokesh participated in a meeting with representatives of the Joint Implementation Steering Committee (JISC) under Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry during his visit to Singapore today.

"The proposed integrated township in Amaravati, inspired by Singapore's Punggol model, is envisioned to become a benchmark urban development project for Andhra Pradesh as well as the country," said Lokesh in an official press release. The minister urged the Joint Implementation Working Committee (JIWC) to expedite procedures for the integrated township project while securing support from the World Bank for its implementation.

Lokesh noted that Andhra Pradesh had already issued notifications inviting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from interested partners for the development of the Amaravati Economic Region. The minister said Andhra Pradesh aims to emerge as a global “Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE)” destination on the lines of Singapore and would study the Suntec City model for establishing similar infrastructure in the state. 

Lokesh further said Andhra Pradesh would continue utilizing Singapore's expertise in strengthening Real Time Governance and assured support for companies willing to invest in the state. He said six Andhra Pradesh Ministers recently attended training sessions in Singapore under the Singapore-Andhra Pradesh Governance Excellence (SAGE) program, while 37 government teachers also completed training programs there. 

The Andhra Pradesh government had signed an MoU with Singapore in November last year covering integrated township development, the Amaravati Economic Region and digital transformation initiatives, including Real Time Governance. Lokesh also met representatives from Commodities Intelligence Centre (CIC) and sought cooperation in trade connectivity for seafood, agriculture, minerals and pharmaceutical sectors along with onboarding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) exporters onto digital platforms. 

Lokesh also proposed organizing an Andhra Pradesh-Singapore Joint Commodity Trade Roundtable involving exporters, CIC, Enterprise Singapore and SGX to identify export opportunities for commodities, including Guntur chillies. He noted that Andhra Pradesh accounted for 40-45 per cent of India’s chilli exports and is also the country’s largest aquaculture-producing state with strong presence in marine products, minerals and pharmaceuticals. 

Lokesh said efforts were made before the Covid-19 pandemic to facilitate Andhra Pradesh-China chilli trade through CIC and sought support to revive the trade corridor through buyer linkage and financing mechanisms. Representatives from CIC said the organization operates a digital B2B marketplace connecting verified buyers, sellers, logistics providers and financiers globally while offering services such as commodity intelligence, blockchain-based document security and customs clearance.

He noted that the number of hotel rooms in the state is expected to increase four-fold to 20,000 over the next five years and said four convention centers have already been approved in Amaravati. Lokesh further said a world-class MICE centre would be developed in Visakhapatnam along with Andhra Mandapam in partnership with the India Trade Promotion Organization.

సింగపూర్‌-ఏపీ మధ్య పటిష్ఠ భాగస్వామ్యం

సింగపూర్‌- ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వాల మధ్య ఇప్పుడు పటిష్ఠమైన భాగస్వామ్యం నెలకొందని లోకేశ్‌ అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. భాగస్వామ్య ఒప్పందాల్లోని అంశాల అమలుపై వర్కింగ్‌ గ్రూపుల ద్వారా ప్రతినెలా సంప్రదింపులు జరుగుతున్నాయని వెల్లడించారు. రాష్ట్ర మంత్రులు ఆరుగురు రెండు వారాల క్రితం సింగపూర్‌-ఏపీ గవర్నెన్స్‌ ఎక్సలెన్స్‌ (ఎస్‌ఏజీఈ) కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా వారం రోజుల పాటు శిక్షణా తరగతులకు హాజరై పరిపాలనలో తమ అనుభవాలను పంచుకున్నారని వెల్లడించారు. రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన 37 మంది ప్రభుత్వ ఉపాధ్యాయులు కూడా తాజాగా శిక్షణను పూర్తి చేసుకున్నారన్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్‌ మోడల్‌ టౌన్‌షి్‌ప, అమరావతి ఎకనామిక్‌ రీజియన్‌, డిజిటల్‌ ట్రాన్స్‌ఫర్మేషన్‌/రియల్‌ టైమ్‌ గవర్నెన్స్‌పై గత నవంబరులో సింగపూర్‌ ప్రభుత్వంతో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అవగాహనా ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుందని వివరించారు. ఈ ఎంవోయూ పురోగతిని నిరంతరం సమీక్షించేందుకు జాయింట్‌ ఇంప్లిమెంటేషన్‌ స్టీరింగ్‌ కమిటీ ఏర్పాటు చేశారన్నారు. ఈ భేటీలో సింగపూర్‌ వాణిజ్య, పరిశ్రమలు, విదేశాంగ మంత్రి గాన్‌ సియో హువాంగ్‌, సీనియర్‌ డైరెక్టర్‌ ఫ్రాన్సిస్‌ చోంగ్‌, సింగపూర్‌ కో-ఆపరేటివ్‌ ఎంటర్‌ప్రైజ్‌ డిప్యూటీ చీఫ్‌, ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌ టే లియాన్‌ చూ, ఎంటర్‌ ప్రైజెస్‌ సింగపూర్‌ సౌత్‌ ఆసియా డెవల్‌పమెంట్‌ డైరెక్టర్‌ ఆడ్రీ టాన్‌, భారత హైకమిషనర్‌ శిల్పక్‌ అంబులే, రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి పీయూష్‌ కుమార్‌, ఐటీ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి కాటమనేని భాస్కర్‌ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

అంతర్జాతీయ ఈవెంట్ల అనుమతులు

ఏపీని ప్రపంచస్థాయి మీటింగ్స్‌, ఇన్సెంటివ్స్‌, కాన్ఫరెన్సెస్‌ అండ్‌ ఎగ్జిబిషన్‌ (మైస్‌) కేంద్రంగా మార్చడమే లక్ష్యమని లోకేశ్‌ వెల్లడించారు. సింగపూర్‌ సన్‌టెక్‌ సిటీని సందర్శించి.. డీపీ అర్బన్‌ ఆర్కిటెక్ట్‌ సంస్థ డైరెక్టర్‌ ఆనందన్‌ కరుణాకరన్‌తో భేటీ అయ్యారు. అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి ఈవెంట్ల కేంద్రంగా ఏపీని మార్చేందుకు డెడికేటెడ్‌ మైస్‌ పాలసీ రూపొందిస్తున్నామని ప్రకటించారు. అంతర్జాతీయ ఈవెంట్‌ నిర్వాహకులకు సింగిల్‌ విండో విధానంలో అనుమతులు ఇస్తామన్నారు. విశాఖపట్నం, అమరావతి, తిరుపతిలలో ప్రత్యేక బ్యూరోలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని చెప్పారు.

పోర్టు వాణిజ్య కారిడార్‌ ప్రారంభించండి

సింగపూర్‌-ఏపీ మధ్య పోర్టు ఆధారిత వాణిజ్య కారిడార్‌ను ప్రారంభించాలని కమోడిటీస్‌ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్‌ సెంటర్‌ (సీఐసీ) సీఈవో గ్లోరియా డూను లోకేశ్‌ కోరారు. ప్రపంచంతో ఏపీ వాణిజ్య అనుసంధానానికి సహకారం కోరారు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఎగుమతులు పెంచాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రస్తుతం పోర్టు ఆధారిత పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధిపై దృష్టిపెట్టామని చెప్పారు. కాగిత రహితంగా, పారదర్శకతతో కూడిన ఎగుమతుల కోసం సీఐసీ బ్లాక్‌చెయిన్‌ ప్లాట్‌ఫాంతో సింగపూర్‌ నుంచి విశాఖ లేదా కృష్ణపట్నం మధ్య ఓ పైలట్‌ డిజిటల్‌ కారిడార్‌ను ప్రారంభించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. గుంటూరు మిర్చితో పాటు ఇతర సరుకుల ఎగుమతులకు ఉన్న అవకాశాలను గుర్తించేందుకు ఎగుమతిదారులు, సీఐసీ, ఎంటర్‌ప్రైజ్‌ సింగపూర్‌, ఎస్‌జీఎక్స్‌లతో కలసి ఏపీ-సింగపూర్‌ జాయింట్‌ కమోడిటీ ట్రేడ్‌ రౌండ్‌ టేబుల్‌ను నిర్వహించాలని ప్రతిపాదించారు. లోకేశ్‌ ప్రతిపాదనలు పరిశీలిస్తామని సీఐసీ ప్రతినిధులు చెప్పారు.

పుంగోల్‌ ప్రాముఖ్యం ఇదీ
