Till now singapore,CRDA got it wrong except retired irrigation report given 16 months back.

- It is a flash flood of 3+ TMC in 24-32 hours and that point totally missed by Singapore

- Starting from kondaveedu hills, phirangipuram forest, medikonduru then adds multiple streams(panta kalavalau) along that 60 kilometeres

When it reaches LAM that's when it almost gets to a one stream shape(maximum width of 170 feet and some places even <100)

Also remember this is muddy water as it picks "chetta" in fields on the way

1) Singapore half solution

- build pond at LAM next to Abhinadana RE ventune,NORTH of Neerukonda, krishnayapalem

faults:-

But Neerukonda north is wrong choice as south of Neerukonda towards Tadikondais is more low area and that has more flood along with north

Also near Nerrukonda it has TWO "Z" shape(one north inside pooled area one south outside)

Singapore team totally missed 2nd Z shape(south of Neerukonda hill) which is boundary of pooled land as of Today and worst where even Tadikonda-Nidamarru road washed away.

They should build pond with HILL as boundary(both on north, west boundary) taking away current pedaparimi road(not a big deal as it is just 100 meters length of single lane road we loose). This south of hill are is "low" area and floods even for simple rain.

This provides pond with hill as boundary on almost two sides. They can build katta on the village edge.

Forget the idea of canals going around with this water unless first it settles in pond that "chetta" .

Possible solutions:-

1)  Let govt decides THREE POND locations and give control to farmers in that area

Identify Polling area farmers PLOT zones and ask them to take that "matti/dirt" for elevation for free of cost. They sweep it in 1 month if free of cost(I bet on this as knowing situation around there)

.

They will dig ponds free of cost(even this week people are buying truck load of matti for elevation paying 2000 rupees in Tdaikonda area)

Every body wants "matti" for elevation of their residential zones once govt gives plots back.

2) Take back Tadikonda pond scam lands by Kanna&batch(this guy on benami got 20 acres is local open talk)

Tadikonda pond was originally 1000 acres pond and occupation made it 600 acres.

3) widen the vagu and straighten the Z,L shapes on the way. These Z,L shapes are main problem

4) Also they need pond between 3 hills near nidumukkala/karlapudi-Ananthavaram hills for Narukullapadu problem

Same solution tell everybody to take "matti" for free they sweep in 1 month

"Matti" ki picha scarcity vachindi sudden ga Guntur and surroundings lo. Vilalges lo kottukuntunaru "matti" ammakala godavallo explains the story.

Also capital area needs it for elevation. Put a moveable conveyer belt(quaries, cement factories does this and not a big deal) and dump dirt from ponds on it with other end pointing to pooled area where we need elevation.

Starting Jul-2013 when congress started state separation talk, 1st thing I started scratching was how to solve Kondaveti vagu if capital comes here.

It is simple problem(in reality an asset) but somehow they are not taking retired irrigation experts who worked in Guntur area suggestion.

Ofcourse other options still we need even with ponds

1) lift backup pump at barrage(This anyway needed not just for vagu but for other canals also in worst case)

2) buckingham canal connection(with 3 ponds on the way when it reaches here it settled "chetta" so no issue)

3) merge into river after revendrapadu-Vallabhapuram branch

Shit gadu ninna chelaregi poyadu ga kondaveti vagu meda

In Green Tribunal Andhra govt argument should be very simple and straight.

Kondavetivagu was a problem created "in recent years" by closing it's river end side with wall. High court given permission in 2013 December to open it's linkage with Buchingham canal and that solves the problem.

All shit writings yesterday are garbage if they open this Buchingham connection.

Andhra NGT lawyer in last hearing said he is unprepared :notlistening:

Ento mana media CRDA feed evadu estadu villaki.

HIGH COURT GAVE CLEARANCE in 2013 December or so time FOR KONDAVETI VAGU TO BE MERGED TO BUCKINGHAM AND THEN TO KRISHNA RIVER AT REVEDNRAPADU existing channel. This alone solves man made problem of this vagu.

I am afraid CRDA team also does not know this and he NGT lawyer.

This vagu historially was never a problem. It became problem after they stopped merger with canal

chi jeevitham. pratidi CM cheppali laga vundi. Antha varaku evadu pattinchukodu.

Villa kanna farmers ekkuva knowledgeble ga vunnaru e vishyama lo.

Just do the basics right and that it self solves 80% of problem

- From LAM to Barrage straighten the vagu without curves and increse width
- Remove the "tutaku" near barrage
- Farmers were ready to widen the vagu  100-200 meters from present encroached 30-40 meters even in Tadikonda and Lam area for longtime.

In 2013 end Rayapati got 50 crores for that and started works. With in weeks with state division they stopped that also.

Finally identify TWO 1000 acres near Neerukonda and LAM/Tadikonda and hardly it takes three months max.

They can sell the "matti" and recover that cost also.

Give this total project to Tadikonda,Tulluru local committes and they take care.

Brothers:- Please collect the list of works done under the scheme of 'Neeru - Chettu' in one thread. This will be useful for forwarding the clippings in facebook, twitter and other social media so that everyone will know sir CBN commitment for farmers.

Here is another option not looked at by CRDA but was talked old days by irrigation in the past before capital proposal. Problem is CRDA is not involving local Engineers that worked on these canals but getting people from outside.

Good that they got BIG reservoir plans to use but also think of how to divert that water from where it originates

Solution:- Divert the Kondavetti wagu water flow to Perecherla canal and let the water flow till chilakaluripeta with existing canal

- Both Kondavetti vagu and Percherla canal originate at same area. Right now Kodaveedu hills water is flowing to “vagu” and this can be diverted to canal
- Perceherla canal right now gets water from NSP canal and hardly there is water in recent years

This perecherla canal goes to Chilakaluripeta side and is not getting any water now a days.
