Vinay NTR
lord muruga is followed only in west bengal and tamil nadu. why is he not famous in other regions of india? see Telugu lo kuda people did not worship krishna till the 9th century. infact he got more popularized and people came to know more about krishna only after mahabharatha is translated into telugu in the 12th century. People had their own deities. maa village lo 11 years ki okasari oori pandaga chestaru and no one is allowed to go out of their home that day. but this is not followed in other parts of India and no one knows about our deity. Infact couth india lo each kingdom followed their own gods. british came in and gave a common name for all these different deities. For example, krishna district lo till 1970 most of the people were atheists. idi fact.
