But after the movie's release their needs to be aggressive selective publicity like we had for GS, and Dookudu.

Dookudu benefitted from the nonstop news about its shares, and etc.

While most of it was indeed fake, it went into the ears of the people.. and in the long run it was a benefit for everyone involved in the movie.

 

I'm not saying content, release timing, expectations, and markets dont play a major role.. but marketing plays an equal role if not greater than all combined.

 

Why do you think Hollywood movies have budgets like these?

Where marketing almost equals the cost of production?

Cost of Production: $60 Million Dollars

Marketing & Publicity: $60 Million Dollars

 

THE ONE MAIN ADVANTAGE THE TFI HAS IS... TELUGU PEOPLE ARE MOVIE CRAZY, AND HERO CRAZY. MORE SO THAN ANYONE ELSE. MOVIES ARENT JUST THEATRICAL IMAGES.. BUT SO MUCH MORE for us.

 

In any case hopefully Baadshah gets respectable shares i.e 45C+
