P. Vasu is presently an expert at rebuilding careers. Ask Vishnuvardhan, Mohan Babu and Tamil actor Ajith and they would easily confirm this. His new project is Rebuild Balakrishna. The director was in a mood to reminisce about his past. "My father used to be the makeup man for stars like MGR and NTR. I had the opportunity to stand next to them many times. Years later, when I came to Hyderabad to launch Chiranjeevi’s film, NTR gave the first clap, turned to me and said, "I’m proud of you, my child." That is one of the moments I would never forget for the rest of my life. NTR is like a God to me," the director began. "I don’t like to waste my time reliving my past glories. ‘Chandramukhi’ was a hit. In fact, I spend more time analyzing the reason why my films failed. A film succeeds for a few reasons only. But there are many reasons behind a failure," he said. P Vasu is going to direct the Hindi version of ‘Chandramukhi’ after completing the Balakrishna film. Source: Cinesouth.
