It was a day of jubilation for the fans of Nandamuri Family in Kurnool .

Thousands of fans took out a huge rally with hundreds of vehicles welcoming Nandamuri Balakrishna into politics. They fired crackers and shouted slogans in favour of actor’s announcement into politics. At 1 PM thousands of fans gathered at the “C” Camp Center to welcome Nandamuri Tarakaratna who participated in this rally. Nearly 40000 fans from kurnool and neighboring villages took part in the rally. Banners, placards, flags etc were seen in almost everybody’s’ hands.  The Lorries, TATA Sumos, cars, Autos followed the huge crowds. Fans shouted slogans like “NTR Amar hai”, “kaboye cm Balayya”, “Balayya Zindabad”, “Jai Balayya” and so on. There was a huge reaction from the general public. Large crowds joined the rally in the middle. The buildings on both sides of the road were filled by people to see the rally. Many people stopped the rally and garlanded Balakrishna Nandamuri’s cutouts. Many people said that the if Balakrishna will come to kurnool turnout willbe in lakhs.

The rally took place in “C” Camp Center , Maddur Nagar, Vinayak Ghat, Kurnool General Hospital , Medical college, Rajvihar Center and finally reached YMCA Grounds at 5 pm. Due to the heavy crowds it became impossible for Taraka Ratna to attend the meeting so he requested the fans and went to Hotel Mourya. Thousands of fans gathered at Hotel Mourya. Organizers conducted the meeting with Local Telugu Desam party leaders and Fans Association Leaders.

Police had a very tough time to control the crowds and more than 10 fans got injured in the rally.
