Can P.Vasu the director of Aapthamitra in Kannada and Chandramukhi in Tamil give a new lease of life to Balakrishna? Vasu’s recent film was in Tamil with Ajit titled Paramasivan is also a hit and now he is all set to direct Balayya in a film to be produced by R.B.Chowdary. Vasu has a history of reviving the career of superstars. Remember that Rajnikanth got a huge hit after the Baba debacle with Chandramukhi. Similarly now Ajit has bounced back in Tamil with Paramasivan, a hit. Vasu is writing the script of this Telugu film in which Balayya will play an unusual police officer without even one scene in a uniform! It will be more of a thinking cop than a routine action hero who solves mystery through his brawn! Says Vasu: “Balayya is a good actor especially as an action hero.
