:SYNOPSIS:

Balayya as he is fondly known plays a dual role after a long time, much to the delight os his fans and that too in style. He plays Ranjith an upright and fearless Police officer and his underrated, directionless, carefree kid brother Giri. Ranjith's presence apparently becomes a serious obstacle for GK (Mukesh Rushi) - the dreaded Mafia don smuggling arms for anti-national elements. He can not but deal with Ranjith to survive in his nefarious business. He contemplates to eliminate Ranjith's family. But least did he imagine, even in his farthest dreams that he will have to deal with Giri, who would make his worst nightmares come true and make Ranjith look like a paragon of peace. Giri rises to the occassion and proves himself to be worthy of his father's (Puneet Isaar) love and respect.

Balakrishna excels in both the roles. He generates tremendous applause for his dialogues and mannerisms and leaves the audiences asking for an encore. Charmme in the role of a village belle is habitually charming. Katrina Kaif is sophistication and elegance personified. Music by Mani Sharma is excellent. Jayanth's skill in elevating a simple story to a gripping entertainer deserves kudos.
