Mr. Satish Dasari, Owner of Dakshin Restaurant arranged success meet of Pandurangadu movie on June 1^st 2008, for which Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna Donned as Chief Guest. Sri Ashwini Dutt known for his lavish production of movies shared the Dais with NBK. Though, it was organized with a short notice, more than 200 people that includes NBK fans and well wishers of the good movies thronged to the occasion with their families to meet Mr. Balakrishna and greet him on the stupendous success of the film.

 Mr. Anil Boppudi, invited Balayya and Ace producer Aswinidutt on to Dais and requested them to address the gathering.

 Aswinidutt went all out in praising Sri Raghavendra Rao and Mr. Balakrishna for their courage to remake the epic movie of NTR’s Panduranga Mahatyam after 50 years as Pandurangadu and taste success. He wished Balayya to act in many more movies of his father NTR that emphasize Telugu culture on the silver screen. He was also pleased to say that he was extremely happy to distribute this movie in Krishna district and stated that, it is running with packed houses.

 Mr. Balakrishna greeted everyone personally and expressed his gratefulness to all his fans and the audience who all attended the event. He stressed the importance of family values, culture, traditions and why they need to be preached and protected. He also hmained he will act many more movies like this to motivate present and coming generations. His electrifying speech received a standing ovation from one and all that attended the event. He expressed his special thanks to his Fans Association, all the audience and organizers.

 NBK Fans and well wishers of the cause contributed $5116.00 to Basavatarakam Cancer Foundation. Satish Dasari and NBK fans handed over the check to Balayya. Balakrishna sincerely thanked all the fans for their generous contribution.

Vote of thanks was proposed and dinner was followed to wrap the successful event that was organized with a very SHORT NOTICE.

 In spite of jetlag, Balakrishna stayed late till 1:30Am and moved very freely with all the fans and obliged every one’s request to have a picture with him. Overall, it was a fun filled evening for NBK fans and Telugu Movie lovers.
