Raj KS Gopi is making his debut as feature film director with ‘Tejam’. This film is going to be produced by the first time S Rajasekhar on Sun Rays entertainments banner. Muhurat of this film was held at Prasads multiplex on the morning of 3rd December. Venkatesh sounded the clapboard, Gopichand switched on the camera and Boyapati Srinivas directed the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion producer Rajasekhar said, “I would like to thank Venkatesh, Gopichand and Boyapati Seenu for doing honors during the muhurat of Team. It is an entertaining film with novel concept. The story revolves around eight boys and one girl. We are taking up a burning issue and narrating it in an entertaining way. We are introducing Ganapathy as music director. Veteran cinematographer Thota Ramana handles camera. Director Raj KS Gopi worked with Venkatesh in direction department for all Venkatesh films starting from Preminchukundam Raa to Tulasi. He also directed a short film titled ‘Live and let live’ which won three Nandi awards. We are going to start the regular shoot in 10 days and will complete the entire shoot in single schedule.”

Director Gopi said that Tejam is a different film deal with a novel plot.
