SMARTSUNIL Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 Telugu Association of North America Major Fire Accident Leaves Several Telugu Students Homeless May 15th, 2009 Dear Friends, We are deeply saddened to inform you that a Major Fire Accident effected 17 Telugu Students and left them homeless. Some of the students graduated recently and are in search of jobs. The present economy and job market is impacting every one in general and disasters like this will surely have severe adverse affect. As fellow Indians, our little help and support would surely reinforce the confidence and put them back on the track quickly. Organizations like American Red Cross came forward to provide them with food and shelter for the first few days. Let us do our part. Please come forward and support them thru the trust worthy TANA Team Square program, which was especially initiated to help fellow Telugus during tragic incidents. Local TANA Team Square Volunteers already visited these students and pledged the support on all our behalf. Here are the three ways you can help these students. We will distribute the help equally. 1. Donating money thru TANA Team Square: Visit www.tana.org/donate and select Team Square. 2. Donating Laptops: Please send an email to treasurer@tana.org, so that we can send you the chicago local mailing address (or) mail a store gift card to the address given in option 3 below. 3.
