pavan s Posted February 2, 2021 Share Posted February 2, 2021 I support these old people are asking for their right.. their sons might be earning good.. but these guys are not earning and old... what is the issue is paying them along with others old people who are not earning? let me put different perspective.. lets say, if you are earning, but your son 21+ didn't get job, will govt give tax deduction to you? no right?? also suppose you paid 10L/year tax for few years and you lost job for couple of years... will govt support you? will they give some part of your tax back to you for your lively hood?? No... then why to loose these amount?? govt is sucking more tax from tax payers (mostly due to TDS, otherwse they wont pay) and feeding useless guys under the name of poor.. This is a basic thing. This is how it is in most countries. It shouldn't be based on their kids economic status.
