Dravidict Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 These were some points which I noted down in November last year when I thought I could get in touch with CBN at Amaravati Poetic Prism event. Unfortunately, CBN skipped the event in the last minute. Speech - Keep it short and to the point (Stop talking about Hyderabad. Stop boasting about everything - adhi nenu chesa, idhi nenu chesa...) Social Media - Terrible team. Pathetic handling of Twitter JaiTDP handle is one example. Unable to put facts before the fake news is getting viral. Don't swing between extremes. Get feedback from youngsters. Interact with them on issues. Stop naming schemes after NTR/CBN (Chandranna) Stop over-publicizing everything (Titli toofan pai vijayam, Celebrations for a speech in Parliament. New designs of Amaravati buildings every month etc.,) All these led to resentment among youth voters about CBN and TDP. Tongue slips of Lokesh and his physical appearance too did a lot of damage. Youth couldn't identify themselves with TDP. Losing youth support is a costly mistake and one TDP couldn't afford for they are the ones who would be voting for the next 40-50 years.
