Many reasons one of the top Chintamaneni has done considerable damage to tdp image in AP.He might be mass leader but his behavior is unacceptable.2004 ki mundhara ila mla behave chesthe babu garu party nunchi suspend chesievallu. But he gave him a free hand ycp used it good for their campaign.

Lot of my friends are highly educated (you can't get a higher degree) and high achievers, and most of them are non-Kamma OCs. In the last 3 years they started favoring Jagan over CBN without any logic after repeatedly watching videos/posts circulated by their friends in WA/Facebook. Whatever CBN achieved, they credited to Modi. They kept repeating CBN should finish atleast few PERMANENT buildings in Amaravathi. I used to explain patiently that it will take time and CBN finished the hardest task, which is land pooling. But at the end of the arguments, they still thought CBN did nothing w.r.t Amaravathi.

Now looking back, I believe they represent the common man in AP. Most people in AP, especially people in Rayalaseema have no emotional investment over Amaravathi. This could be because they are closer to Chennai, Bangalore, & Hyd than Amaravathi. They don't want to wait for it to raise. Caste polarization became extreme with social media. 10-20 year projects evadu pattinchukovatam ledhu. Ayindha, ledha? Amaravati kooda oka polavaram laga plan cheyyakunda oka patiiseema laga plan chesi undalsindhi emo? Simple and quick completion.

CBN entha chesina, opposition CBN meedha negative opinion form cheyinchadam lo baaga success ayyaru. Dheeniki main reason, most of CBN's hard work was not visible on ground. Example, lets say CBN spent 5 years convincing people to donate land for Bandar port. So its a lot of work to get so many people to agree on the land acquisition, raise money for land acquisition, and distribute the money. But opposition says CBN didn't even start construction, so CBN did nothing w.r.t Bandar port. Similarly for many years, the works on Polavaram were underground (jet grouting etc.). And Undavalli used to say nothing was there. And people believed him. Only after the spillway construction started to raise above ground, people started noticing CBN's hard work. Most of the CBN's hard work was like that this term. Social media lo manam CBN ni entha ekkuva +ve ga project chesukuntamo, vallu antha kante negative ga project chesaru. Unfortunately vallu success ayyaru, because no one thinks critically when reading SM posts.

Plus low-level corruption kooda debbesindhi. TDP's USP used to honest rule. YSR vachi daani valla antha use ledhu ani prove chesadu. TDP kooda adhe repeat cheyyatam valla, TDP ki, YCP ki difference lekunda poindhi. Individual ga, ee single point not a big deal. But when you couple it with people's opinion that CBN is not doing anything great,  neutrals might have moved away as I noticed in my friend's circle.

my wish list:

1.polavaram : terminate transtroy contract at the starting of cbn rule as suggested by central government in the 2014. central government used to make fun of progress done by transtroy. but cbn lenient towards transtroy and gave some time to it. later cbn vexed with progress and tried to change contract. rayapati lobbied with gadkari which delayed contractor replacement further. if cbn agrees to replace contractor(with navayuga/meil) as suggested by central government project could get completed within 3 years. there is no need of pattiseema and purushotapatnam lift . from 4th year, he could start godavari-penna link immediately after completion of polavaram to show the commitment towards guntur, prakasam, nellore, rayalaseema . from 4th year he could start uttharandhra sujala sravanthi to show commitment towards UA districts. people could have believe if he started digging canals.

2. capital : he could build small capital in nuziveedu government lands within 3000 acres. he could build capital  easily within 4 years. there won't be hatred on capital in UA & seema areas. he could justify that capital is for administrative purpose and development is distributed across all districts in the state. we choose the location as it is near center of state and accessibility to gannavaram airport, railway connectivity.

3. high court bench: he could setup one high court bench in tirupati and another in vizag . it placates these areas.

4. urban infra : spend as less as possible based on necessity . its waste to spend money on metro , hyperloop etc as they won't bring votes.

I don't know why people take on Chintamaneni, it's not blind support...akkada jarigindhi takkuva ..chesindhi ekkuva...

Media and SM lo too much negativity ,

They have created an illusion saying Jagan vasthaadu....it's not a joke ...it's the efforts of PK team.....auto. Taxi, ,shops etc everywhere the propaganda was Jagan vasthaadu....neutrals kooda endhi idhi ila undhi ani they got confused, they went through tide...

PK and JSP, Kaapu caaste......frankly Vella agenda okatey caste...they don't like kammas to rule anthey...CBN vasthey chaalu trains tagalabedathaaru, cases lekundaa choosukunaaru...they benefitted a lot, never before govts in AP uplifted them...nijanaga gunde meedha chesyyi vesukoni chethey...no govt helped like CBN did...Vella valla BC's ki bokkaa....

Caste polarization in Seema, and Seema guys felt AMaravathi is not for them...they always tend to go HYD, Bangalore ...they don't care for AMaravathi.... obviously they don't like amaravathi to flourish...

Inka ivanni kaakunda...overall south lo strong leader undakoodadhu and BaJaPa Andhra lo raavaali, Andhra develop kaakodadhu...this is one more hidden agenda from Modi and other central leaders....

Yes,

1.CBN shouldn't have highlighted AMaravathi at that level...

2. One single stand on special status (ofcourse CBN did. It right about As but public want reality..and opposition played on it)

3. Lokesh though may be good person, but he could have focused on party building and cadre strengthening rather directly getting into cabinet....more interaction with public and cadre would have definitely build his image differently ....

4. Anti caste

5. Negative propaganda on SM

6. Party financial sources Ni baagga control chesaaru last lo by terrifying with CBI and IT etc...

7. PK kooda em leKunda TDP meedha padi edchaadu even JSP guys never realized that ysRCp would effect them this way.

And so on , enemity with all , LP, posaani, prathi okaru padi edchaaru CBN meedha....

CBN kooda annitiki okadey hadaavidi chesinattu undhi.....he might thougt people realise his deeds and support him like wise in telangana and TN but unfortunately Andhra people are very different when comes to politics and individual benefits....

Corruption, janma Bhoomi committees , Chintamaneni etc etc , all these stuff happens in every political regime...
