Learning any language in the world will be useful. But Indian aite Hindi vachi undali ane attitude is problem

Also they should understand it's equally difficult for some people to learn as it is difficult for the northies to learn a South Indian language

Hindi written in devnagari along with english is just official language of india , that too for GOI communication purpose only !!! In states the communication is  in Respective mother Tongue & English , And center writes letters to States (Non-Hindi Speaking) in English only !!!

Regarding a Link language debate , well all the BIMARU states share a common tongue yet they are last in every possible index and continue to be a handicap for india's progress , on the other hand .. here down south we speak 4 different languages completely contrast from one another yet we progressed like no other region !!!

And regarding that majority thing (Hindi being the largest spoken indian language ... should be our link / official / national / whatever / language )

Some dravidian leader (donno his name .. prolly from DMK) rightly pointed out that there are more no of Crows in our country then why is Peacock made our national bird , There are more no of Pigs & dogs in our country then why Tiger is considered as our national animal ?? therefore the notion of majoritarian thing is not feasible in democracy !!!

Hindi was never our national language and never will be !!!!

తెలుగు  for everrrrrr !!!!!

If we have Hindi as second language, why can’t there be a second language (Tamil or Telugu or Kannada or Malayalam) for northies?

Actual ga 3 language formula  ni anukunappudu , South lo Hindi and hindi speaking belt lo other than Hindi language (Preferably south indian ) enchukovali ani  ankunnaru ... But hindi belt sidelined this by adopting sanskrit as second language ( nerchukotaaniki pedda theda em undadu .. rendu dev nagari lone undedhi )

That is a point.

Dravidian languages are on par or richer than Sanskrit languages. All North Indian languages are Sanskrit derived, where as South Indian languages are pro Dravidian.

All southindian laguages are given ancient status but not all Sanskrit derived languages are given that status.

Telugu valani Tamilians gane chustaru

Where as we differentiate between Gurathi, Marathi, Hindi guy..

Okasari super market lo one northy guy was taking class for not knowing Hindi to a salesgirl, she only knows Telugu

Even he needs to learn local language ga

Best retort is given by Tamilians in FB comments, when any one questions about not knowing Hindi they just type in Tamil...😀

Bec of Bollywood everyone knows little Hindi though...

Telugu is 70-80 % Dravidian and 20-30% sanskritized and this is the reason why some Telugu population has soft corner on Hindi language.

Tamil is 100% derived from pro Dravidian language.

I am not aware of this though I know there are some words in Telugu linked to Sandkrit. I hope I should be able to still ask for source though it may show my ignorance.

Do we have Sindhu in India?

As per you, Punjab (1), Gujarat (1), Maratha (maharastra -1), Dravida (5), Banga (1) - what about remaining 20 States representation in National Anthem?

kanisam anthem lo kuda Kashmir ki importance ivvaleni country ki Kashmir enduku ani adagalemo inka kashmirians?

why to toothpick Pre-independence text with current scenarios that too written by a local Bengal poet to whole north Indians.. 🤷‍♂️

17anilsoumitra1.jpg

India does not have a national language, as ruled by the Gujarat High Court. Hindi or English is used for official purposes such as parliamentary proceedings, judiciary, communications between the Central Government and a State Government. States of India are free to adopt one or more local languages for official purposes of that state. Additionally 22 official languages are accorded official status as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India. All of these languages carry equal official status and Government documents can be written in any one of these languages. Hence India has 22 major official languages and no National language.

As per Articles 344(1) and 351 of the Indian Constitution, the eighth schedule includes the recognition of the following 22 languages:

Assamese
Bengali
Bodo
Dogri
Gujarati
Hindi
Kannada
Kashmiri
Konkani
Maithili
Malayalam
Meitei
Marathi
Nepali
Odia
Punjabi
Sanskrit
Santali
Sindhi
Tamil
Telugu
Urdu
