TDP has already started this social engineering. But TDP is caught in a situation where it cannot publicly over publicize the things they are doing as part of this social Engg. The social engineering is done in two ways targeted and global. 

1. Corporations for Kapus, Brahmins, Vaishyas etc., (here you cannot over Publicize as this may back fire or irk other communities). Kapu reservation also falls in this bracket. But TDP is really cautious not to irk BCs. We have to wait until election results to see how well we played this card.

2. Temple developments - after CBN came to power, the govt identified 5 famous Hindu temples other than Turupathi. Temples like Kanaka Durga, Srisailam, Chinna Tirupathi, Annavaram, Simhachalam etc., have started good Dev activities. Nitya Anna prasaadam start chesaru with govts fund. You can see the change of the roads on the way to chinna tirupathi. Again, the govt cannot over publicize this as we have considerable amount of Muslim, Christian, SC-ST vote bank in state.

3. Roads in Villages - NREGA funds ni max utilize chesaru. Publicity kuda baney ichaaru. Result is ViSa using his fox ideas to block the funds. Modi is the culprit(armpit) here. 

4. Pensions - this is another social engineering scheme where a solid vote bank will be created irrespective of the caste and creed. This scheme is a instant super hit as it aimed at the ones that are in real need.

5. Anna Canteen - another social engineering scheme irrespective of caste. Does hunger have any caste ?  The no of Anna canteens should be more to see the complete affect of this scheme. 

6. Annadhaataa sukheebhava - another chartbuster of the Naidu regime! Hope the farmers remember this one.

7. Pattiseema - one of those master strokes where the direct impact is in one region and indirect impact is in a completely different religion. Part of butterfly effect ? 

8. Polavaram - the only party which took this seriously is TDP.

(I have to add Pattiseema and Polavaram into social Engg as this will impact one of the major section - farmers) 

9. Ramzan Thofa, Chandranna Kaanuka - festive times lo baaga use ayina scheme. 

10. Housing scheme for poor - this is another instant hit as there are lakhs of houses built.

 

i May sound like a election campaign, but all these are social engineering concepts for a seasoned political party. You may ask why there is anti in some sections. Well, that’s what you call as fanaticism. We are fanatics for YCP and they are fanatics for us. It will take a generation to get a change among few sections. 

TDP couldn’t boast much on the development and job creation part. We can say we did best within our resources, but unfortunately the bench mark we set for ourselves is very high.

in my opinion for proper development duration of assembly/parliament should be increased from 5 years to  10-20 years. person who become cm in one term shouldn't get second term . then only cm will focus on development and ignore welfare. we should write petition to PM to amend constitution in this regard.

ysr promised  to complete 29 projects like polavaram,inchampally, veligonda  etc . once he  come to power he increased no of projects to 87 . some of them requires huge lifts like pranahita_chevella(redesigned as kaleshwaram ) . he took commissions and gave mobilization advance to contractors. contractors worked on earthwork(matti panulu) and ignored structures(concrete work). despite  all these defects some progress  made in projects like veligonda tunnel, digging canals in polavaram project, galeru nagari, handri neeva, pranahita chevella, thotapally etc. some projects stuck due to environment & forest clearance .

rosaiah & kiran kumar reddy haven't done any thing to these projects

cbn(from 2014) started focusing on irrigation .  he is liberal in giving compensation to land acquisition.  he acquired land for polavaram rmc which was stuck in court cases since 2005. he completed polavaram rmc(right main canal) and pattiseema . cbn widened handri-neeva main canal to carry more water to ponds linked to canal. in galeru-nagari lot of progress made. some portion of galeru nagari project stuck due to forest clearance . officials prepared alternative plan to complete project . cbn approved plan. cbn promised to complete veligonda by 2017 but he couldn't sort out contractors issues . he gave deadline april 2019 . one tunnel work of veligonda given to meil another tunnel work given to cm ramesh. cbn couldn't  keep the promise of completing veligonda in this term . people in west prakasam suffered with drought . they dissatisfied with cbn on veligonda issue. most probably all pending projects will get completed by next term. cbn gave 100 tmc in one year,150 tmc in another year to rayalaseema.

currently cbn encouraging new project proposals in different places like godavari-penna linking, utharandhra sujala sravanthi, nagavali-vamsadara river link, new barrage and high level canal on vamsadhara river. cbn giving permissions to proposals made by irrigation department. all these proposals require huge money . as our resources are limited we have to prioritize development works based on necessities . if we spend more on urban infra, we can't allocate enough money to irrigation projects. in my opinion if we spend more money on irrigation we can uplift more people in the rural areas . suppose cbn complete veligonda project, west prakasam district people who are suffering from drought gets lifeline.  if cbn build metro in vijayawada&vizag , people travel by metro else people travel by existing transportation system(buses) . there is alternative  travel mode available for people but there is no alternative to water. in my opinion water is necessity and metro is luxury. 

water is must for survival of any living being(trees, animals, humans) . ancient civilization  developed near rivers .  population density more wherever water resources available . once person survives by fulfilling basic necessities , he will focus on his growth.

so the conclusion is that CBN from 2014 did lot of work wrt to Irrigation. For the first time seema got water 3 straight years... Many projects in Uttarandhra have been completed or about to complete in a couple of years time. Yes Veligonda coudn't be completed this term... it might take another 3-5 years at the least... this is simply because of the difficulty in getting the tunnel ready.. the location too is not helping anyway...

and your comparing of metro with Veligonda project is totally wrong. The state is borrowing money specially for these projects or most probably they might even go BOT way. we will not get this money just like that to use it for irrigation projects. also without proper infra... getting investments will also become difficult. so saying we can wait for developing infra is totally wrong. All the things have to be balanced and this is the only way to move forward.

4. keep Lokesh in the current capacity and ask him to work on the party related along with a simple portfolio, gives him at least two terms to learn and then take over eventually CM role 

5. tdp repeats the success next election and beyand
