Bollu Posted May 3, 2019 Share Posted May 3, 2019 నా పౌరసత్వం గురించి చర్చేంటి అక్షయ్ కుమార్‌ ముంబయి: బాలీవుడ్‌ నటుడు అక్షయ్‌కుమార్‌.. మీడియాపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో భాగంగా ఇటీవల జరిగిన నాలుగో విడత పోలింగ్‌లో అక్షయ్ ఓటు వేయలేదు. ఇందుకు కారణం ఆయన పంజాబ్‌లో పుట్టినప్పటికీ కెనడియన్‌ పౌరసత్వం కలిగి ఉండటం. అయితే.. దేశం గురించి, సామాజిక అంశాల గురించి మాట్లాడేవారిలో ఎల్లప్పుడూ ముందుండే అక్షయ్.. సరైన రోజున తన దేశభక్తిని చాటుకోలేకపోయారంటూ పలు మీడియా వర్గాలతో పాటు, నెటిజన్లు కూడా ఆయనపై విమర్శలు చేశారు. దీని గురించి ఇటీవల అక్షయ్‌ను ఓ విలేకరి ప్రశ్నించగా.. ‘వదిలెయ్‌ బేటా..’ అంటూ మాటదాటేశారు. కానీ, రోజురోజుకీ ఈ విషయం కాస్తా రాజకీయంగా వివాదాస్పదమవడంతో అక్షయ్ సీరియస్ అయ్యారు. ‘ఇన్నేళ్లలో దేశం పట్ల నాకున్న ప్రేమను ఎవ్వరికీ నిరూపించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం రాలేదు. కానీ, నా పౌరసత్వం గురించి ప్రశ్నిస్తుంటే చాలా బాధగా ఉంది. ఓటెందుకు వెయ్యలేదంటూ మాటిమాటికీ అడుగుతారెందుకు? అనవసరంగా నన్ను ఈ వివాదంలోకి లాగుతున్నారు. నా పౌరసత్వం గురించి చర్చేంటి? ఇది నా వ్యక్తిగత విషయం. రాజకీయాలకు సంబంధంలేదు. నా పౌరసత్వం గురించి సంబంధంలేని వారు ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు. నాకు కెనడియన్‌ పాస్‌పోర్ట్‌ ఉందన్న విషయం నేనెప్పుడూ దాచలేదు. అదేవిధంగా గత ఏడేళ్లలో నేను కెనడాకు వెళ్లలేదన్న మాట కూడా నిజమే. నేను భారత్‌లో పనిచేస్తాను. భారత్‌లోనే పన్నులు కడుతున్నాను’ అని వెల్లడించారు అక్షయ్.
