lol, asalu 10% reservation anedhi 1% actual economically weaker section ki kuda use avvadhu.

Assume 50 OC's get jobs out of the 100 available posts. This new reservation makes sense if more than 40 out of the those 50 OC's have an annual income greater than 8 lakhs. In other words, less than 10 OC's should be from below 8L bracket for this to make any sense. This is far from reality - I believe at least 20 OC's (This number would actually be higher than that.) would be from less than 8L bracket. So, 20 EWS OC's must already be getting jobs. Now, 10 of these 20 would be shown under reservation. Remaining 10 under normal quota.

This is just a gimmick. This isn't going to make any difference.

Indhulo vaallaki antha iccharu, veellaki antha iccharu anedhi feel avvadam waste. Adhi Modi biscuit ayite, idhi CBN biscuit.

oc - meaning open competition. open to all

i will explain current system . 50% oc . 50% reserved  .  currently bc/sc/st caste people with merit getting seats/jobs in oc category. ie they can get seats in 50% oc category . the bc/sc/st person without merit getting seats/jobs in their reserved category.

now modi reserved 10% for  upper castes with less income . remaining 40% is open to all .

10% reservation given by modi for political benefit. out of 10% , 5% given by cbn for political benefit to fulfill his poll promise.

if cbn implements kapu reservation in upcoming appsc notification jobs , he will get support from kapus

OC - Open Category

I know that sections having reservation can compete for posts in the remaining 50% too. I am just explaining how this 10% reservation itself is a gimmick. Assuming the remaining 50% posts are totally occupied by un-reserved castes, it still makes no difference to the EWS among those castes - This is simply because of the 8L limit.

8L is not the bracket, the bracket will be decided by state govt.

For education sector centre said will be increasing no. of seats to accommodate this 10% quota.

What utter non-sense is this!

For the last few years, engineering colleges are not able to fill the seats that are available. Adding more seats just to have more EWS students get the benefit of reservation is utter stupidity. This means, more seats will then be unoccupied.

Deserving candidates ki hole padakudadhu ante vunna reservations thagginchaali. Adhi cheyyaru. ila ishtam vachinattu seats penchukuntu pothe educational institutions lo standards padipothaayi. Anthaku minchi jarigedi emi ledhu.

Meeru aa 10% reservation ivvaka poyina EWS students from un-reserved castes will get into the institutions in the remaining 40% open category seats. Increasing seats to show them in reservation quota is a bluff and it will be foolish to increase seats on that pretext.

Unna reservations ni touch evadu cheyadu, may be they will think about EWS with in the reservation quota.

EWS ni accomodate cheyataniki seats penchuthunnaru, regular OC are not squeezed that way.

Ivanni ayye panulu kaadu.

EWS ni seats penchi accommodate cheyyalsina pani ledhu. They will anyway get into the system from 40% unreserved category. Increasing seats = Destruction of quality (whatever that is left) education institutions.

May be for colleges, but for universities where competition is still high its still a challenge to get in, given the population.
